The 'partnership' arrangement, whereby gay couples can have an official union, has taken a rather depressing twist in Greece, it seems. -_- Have a look at what a friend of mine just told me that a lot of Grecian gay bloggers are going to be writing about: Blog. There is English text to be had if you scroll down the page, past the Greek.
My Greek friend tells me there is no website petitioning to release the right to 'partnership' to all who want it - they tend to get taken down by what he calls the 'hardcore conservative internet users party'.

it says 'unmarried hetrosexual couples'. either someone didn't do their editing and make that 'homosexual' or i just see this partnership contract thing to be...pointless? isn't that like a commonlaw marriage?
That is exactly the point. The 'partnership' arrangement was designed to give homosexual couples some recognition and rights as official couples, but in Greece, it's been changed so as to be open only to heterosexual couples.
