Anime-Source Synopsis & Reviews
Loads of parodies on the first episode, with lack of seriousness. As expected of GONZO, I suppose. But man, its been a while since I've watched some adventure shows. _________________

I really don't know if I should be excited or disappointed with that first episode. It just seemed completely and totally out there.
I guess I feel more disappointment than anything because I felt that this would be a more serious anime, but I take it that GONZO puts out more comedy than drama...
Silly me, I should learn more about the Studios before I make assumptions on what genre it might be <_< _________________ [img:500:100:c4fd14f873]http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/1606/kirbysigcopyou0.jpg[/img:c4fd14f873]

I like the idea of having the subbed version released simultaneously in youtube..
tis all good...
but can't watch just yet... have to wait...
edit: just watched it...
I thought it was awesome... the parodies are a killer... it seems all so pointless and then it got down to business near the end...
I'm anticipating this show... _________________

I didn't intend on watching this anime, just randomly stumbled onto it ... and for a first episode caught me by suprise. Although several parts were pretty funny ... but yeah like xris said, it felt like all that all of it was just wasted since it was his dream
And judging from the opening sequence ... they go to school too? That confused me a little ... not sure if I'll keep going with this one. _________________ Get ready to vote for who you think is the Sexiest Anime Character!! |

Okay...just watched ep1...I gotta admit, I didnt expect this show to be a comedy.I thought it to be just some of those fantasy anime XD
the Opening Theme was kinda misleading, coz for a moment I thoughtprotagonist is the "Konata-type", simply dreaming about some fantasy land... ...
as for the parodies...hmm...seems to be playing alot on the stereotypes of the "minor roles getting killed off before fulfilling dreams" drama
And seriously, the"Vader lines" has gotta be the most heavily parodied scene ever .
Overall, I cant really say this show is funny... (=_=)
Though the pun about the H-fetish was a killer
"Wait! Not yet ! Its getting good!!!"
well, its only ep1, so yeah, I'll see how the story turns out to be... ...

That is a good one. Still trying to figure out what the anime is getting at besides all the parodies... |

cant tell if they were playing an mmorpg game or not(like .hack).. but its kinda weird if the "hero" was dreaming about the game in the game itself
anyways, as sed it was a funny ep1, i really liked the heroes inconsistencies. just like an mmo, were they create their own story via roleplaying but lol how the story changes. _________________ [img:400:237:866f672f5a]http://www.geocities.com/bktabz/mari_boya.jpg[/img:866f672f5a] |

I didn't like the first episode, altough that scene was quite hilarious.
I'll watch the next ep and then decide to drop this or not. _________________ Dv |

After seeing that ED sequence from the first episode, it looked like Jil left Neeba's party (likely got booted for being such a noob) and joined the other girls.
Episode 2...
Looks like the seriousness has started now, and humor has toned down. Jil gets a new shield, and is now partying up with Kaaya and Ahmey.
Now with King Gilgamesh assassinated, I bet they might kick him out of Meskia.
But yeah, this show really is like an MMORPG.

my brother watched the first episode and described it as such...
"it seems they tried to make it as pointless as possible and yet it has to make sense..."
whatever that means...
yeah...
anyways... on to youtube... _________________

I decided to give this show another chance, and watched the second episode.
I enjoyed viewing the show much more this time. At least it's not pointless humour. But I feel kind of sorry for Jil at the end of the episode <_< _________________ [img:500:100:c4fd14f873]http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/1606/kirbysigcopyou0.jpg[/img:c4fd14f873]
