I don't know. I really enjoyed the first episode, but the second...

The hero is the standard combination of idealism and stupidity. I was really hoping for something more then this. Maybe someone with more then 2 brain cells. I'll wait for episode 3, but if it doesn't improve quick, this is going to be a very short quest for me.

okay...just watched ep2...am having trouble deciding whether I like this show or not... ... Rolling Eyes

dont see anything really impressive so far... ...and the vast diff in atmosphere between ep1 and 2 is...hmm...kinda weird... ....

Whoa... what a difference between episode 1 and 2. I hope it continues like episode 2... the series would be awesome if it does.. episode 2 had a lot of potential.

looks like they are sticking to their serious side... though there is still some slight comedy but nothing compared to the insanity of episode 1...

and so the climb to the top of the tower has began, I daresay this is the official start of the adventure... Very Happy

i guess our preferences our different cause I was expecting this anime to actually be a bit serious... so the comedy was a surprise but not really a bad thing...

well, actually I do prefer serious fantasy genres just that this one had a comedy type ep1, so I had this impression "thats it is a comedy" Very Happy

(i mean it really is weird that theres such a drastic change between ep1 ad 2...)
all in all, Im still trying to figure out the nature of this anime... ...

Everyone has different taste, since I dropped the series after first episode. I'm so glad I picked up second though (3 weeks later), and will most likely watch till the adventure ends Very Happy

After watching 4 episodes I am finding that I am liking it more and more. I am actually looking forward to each episode. This is turning out to be a rather backward season for anime with some of the ones that I was really looking forward to, Special A and To-Love-Ru, turning out to be more of a flop as far as building anticipation goes. Just goes to show that a great manga does not necessarily translate into a great anime, though that is probably more the fault of the animation team and the director and editor then the story itself.

Yeah, just caught the 4th episode myself. This is definitely turning out to be a winner so far. I know I'm looking forward to episode 5. In fact I could see this one lasting awhile. Just wondering if they're going to show a power-up scene. Smile

I know I said this is a definite winner last time I posted on this. But I think its beyond that now. I'm thinking this could very well turn out to be my favorite of the shows that came out in its class. Even beating out such others as xxxholic, Kamen no Maid Guy, and Soul Eater. We'll see of course. It's got a long way to go yet, but so far is looking very good.

Only just decided to check this series out. Its mediocre for me, although entertaining enough for me to continue with for now.

The first episode was a mistake in my opinion. It seems to have zero relevance to the actual series, so what's the point?

Also don't like how this series is heaps like an rpg in the sense that everyone has clearly defined class with a clearly defined set of spells/abilities. I think they said the main character was a shield class? That's stupid in my opinion.

That said, this series seems to be getting better for me. Unfortunately, as a rule I usually expect all productions by GONZO to fizzle out at the end. Needless to say, I've been disappointed by many of their animes. They always start brilliantly, but by the end its reduced to drivel.

I rate GONZO's animation up there with the best, but sometimes i feel that their team of story writers needs a serious shake up.
