Itazura na Kiss

This is the anime adaptation of a manga from way back in the early 90's (can tell from the character designs IMO ~ haven't seen this sorta style in ages ~ te he too much 'moe' type designs for me) that has spanned over 23 volumes, but the mangaka has passed away, it's discontinued. But from what I've read about it, the story about these to go post-high school ~ I/m looking forward to that.

Info and Synopsis

The first episode was an alright start, hope the story will start to pick up soon. Naoki is a bit of a bastard btw.

Hehe have to say partially d/led this because I wanted hear Nana Mizuki <3
Anyone else looking to follow this 90's style shoujo anime? ^^

First episode looked pretty good.

And yeah, should definitely be a fun ride the next few months. VK, SA, and of course this one.

wow, the guy is a little bastard.
the gangster looking guy has a better personality then this guy will ever have.
I used to beat kids like him(when i was in middle school of course)
but i guess there more than meets the eye in this situation.

seems like a nice watch... well can't say much since it is the first episode...

I don't mind the oldschool look as long as the storyline is good... so yeah... will continue on this one...

Although I was rather repulsed by the quality of its animation, I've come to like it because of the story so far. This is about the quest that a girl undertakes to get closer to her crush. It may be an old stereotypical love story, but it's a common thing in the real world... Maybe that's why it's so easy to love it - because it seems to exist in reality.

this should reminded me so much of lovely complex.

i hated the animation style... yet loved the story. i hope, like lovely complex it will grow on me too.

after three eps I must say this show is holding out pretty well... I might just go through with it to the end... and I have somehow completely disregarded the art style already... so its all about story now...

Yeah, thats the way it is for me. Disregarded the art style since at least its consistent. All about the story. Though I have to admit I really like the intro music. ED is great too. First time I can remember liking both at the same time in quite awhile.
