Ep 8 seems to be the end of all things happy though, it seems it will get darker next ep.

I'm having way too much fun with just the slice of life side of it. The main plotline is simply just icing on the cake for me. Smile

twelfth epsode has been released. I have to say, it was an excellent show, although a bit short. Much ore character development could have been done, and the situation which led to Muraski's return could have been drawn out a bit more, the Kouhin family's internal strife between father and son could have used a bit more depth, and more character development for many of the side characters could have been used as well.

However, I have to say, Im much happier with series like this that leave me wishing there was more rather than series that are great but a bit too long.

Highly recommendable for those who have no seen it.

it's worth a watch. But I doubt Kurenai will blow you away, or leave a particularly lasting impression. It's just a solid show that's good enough to be a top candidate for an anime that's watched when you feel you need some extra animes to watch.

So it sounds pretty much like a good time filler inbetween the ep releases of Code Geass?

If it's good enough to keep me interested, then I'm game. I'll probably start watching this sometime this weekend.
