latest episode was pretty good in my book it's one of the better animes even though episode 4 ended as weird it did.
Allison is still my "Favourite Indiana Jones alike girl". |

Instead of being one long adventure about ending the war, it might have multiple small adventures?
Either way this and Library Wars are my 2 picks for the new season.
Both have an entertaining premise and interesting characters. |

The synposis basically describes the plot for the first 4 episodes
After that... you're just going to have to watch the anime.
I've watched up to ep 6 and I do recommend this series however whether you warm up to it depends on what type of anime you like to watch.
I'll give a basic rundown of the anime and what I like about it. You decide if you wish to give it a try.
Allison has an Indiana Jones air about her, how she stumbles into adventure and then goes headlong into with utter joy and total abandonment.
There is humor in the show. I like especially how things are developing between Allison and Wil, they are just adorable to watch but not mushy.
Allison's military bearing reminds me of Pumpkin Scissors. The airplane backdrop initially reminded me of Last Exile but by ep 2 any trace of Exile was blown away. It is still good however.
The graphics / animation has a nostalgic feel to it. It lacks the crispness of today's standard. This is not a bad thing as it somehow lends itself to the mood of the setting and the characters thus bringing out the anime in a fuller and better tones.
Characters are interesting. Relationships are developing. Time line lapse from first ep to fourth ep is a year. So far in 6 eps, 1 adventure has come to an end and a new one has begun. Have not detected an overall stroy arc yet but then again only 3 of the 4 main characters have been fully established. It may or may not have a main story arc.
Everything that I like in an anime it has and it continues to deliver.
Hope this gives you some insight. |

Ep 7:
Arghhhhh! I want to know if she is the real princess.
I think she is real otherwise the reaction of the village does not make sense.
What do you think? Is she the real deal or an impostor?

i guess she was the double of the princess or maybe a twin? They look awful alike in the preview of the past.
Anyways... Allison keeping it up being reckless as always.
Going to be interesting, what bomb they'll drop next episode, heh. |

The adorable couple
Allison will blunder headlong into any adventure but stop short in directly telling Will how she feels about him
Will is observant about things but oblivious to Allison's feeling for him.

just watch eps 13
this anime is turning into a weird direction
them getting old and having a child, she is still going out with will if I'm correct or has the same personality(kinda hoping not)........I don't know if I like it or not.

Ep 13
Still enjoying the show.
It was heart breaking when they parted.
That is definitely Will. I am wondering if Allison knows that Traves is Will? Wonder how long he has been stationed there and how long they have been "dating"?
I find it a bit distracting how Traves appearance it totally different from Will (but he still can't drink hot tea ) while Allison remains basically the same but just abit older

Ep 14 & 15:
Finally introduced to the main characters of this arc.
It's interesting what they did for the voice acting. They moved Allison VA to now voice Lillia instead. They gave adult Allison a new VA but everytime she speaks now I keep flashing back to Shurei from Sainkoku Monogatari . It's not a bad thing though.
2 eps into the new arc and I'm already missing Allison and Wil. Wish they had more screen time but can't be helped I guess since they are no longer the main characters for this arc.
Let's see Lillia reads difficult books like Wil but has mum's disposition
Tereiz is the sharpshooter and has Wil's observation and deductive skills.
And both can fly planes this time. Does not look like there will be a second pair of couple like in the first arc.
