i really enjoy the manga, it has a unique cartoony feel to it, and first episode looks to represent it quite well. animation was nicely done tho am a bit surprised at some of the choices of seiyuu for the characters, not really hard to get used to tho.

but im kinda concerned how this series will fare in the long run knowing this is a "TV Tokyo" anime... they kinda have a habit of making more eps than necessary..

yea TV Tokyo tends to drag their shows out too much

Well Soul Eater is currently down for 51 episodes. I hope it dosn't drag out. Its Bones doing it and I don't think they've ever dragged out a series too much

As for the first episode- I love that moon!!!

This show looks so very goofy... but I'm kind of addicted to it now..

the karate chop thing was so funny!

By the way... where is the mother/what happened to her? Or will that be explained later on?

Finally got around to watching this one. Love the first episode, as I knew I would. Really like the manga, so have been looking forward to this one for awhile.

Nice action scenes they got there...really attracted me like how Naruto did in the beginning. Hopefully more can be seen and anticipated as they progress, and hopefully no fillers or anything of the sorts coz they manga is still ongoing and there seems to be quite a long way before they end.

The animation style reminds me of Shaman King.

Just caught the raw for episode 2. Really looks great. Have to admit, this and Kurenai look the best this season. At least as far as artwork goes. Am hoping both manage to maintain their quality.

Soul Eater looks especially good, considering its a shonen show. I normally don't care for them, have watched too many bad Naruto and Bleach episodes to like the genre much. But this one gives me hope. I doubt it will be long before we hear about this one being licensed. Its just too good for it not to be.

Oh, and Black Star is an idiot. I really feel for Tsubaki who has to put up with him. Look for Death the Kid next. Smile

I just saw the uncut night version of the first episode of soul eater. Can anyone tell me the difference between the night and day version? To me they look the same? I might of miss something.
