The series is about a demon, Neuro NÅ?gami, who feeds on mysteries, and has come to the human world after eating all the mysteries in his. But as a demon, he cannot act overtly. The first thing he does is force a high school girl to become a detective, while Neuro acts as her assistant. While it appeared to be a mystery series early on, the author has described it as "a straight forward entertainment book wearing the skin of a mystery."
Srry i cant find a picture, nor is it on anime-source review
Anyways, i found this unorthodox detetive anime very interesting, it got humor, demons, and mystery what more do you need. The first episode i found was pretty good, and the facial expressions were hilarious. I also love how Neuro voice changes. |

Its sad no one is really talking about it. I really love the manga....I hope the anime can become just as go, but they have yet to start the 1st chapter of the manga....it makes me worry. _________________ [img:320:240:7cdc2eb07c]http://img312.imageshack.us/img312/1340/09dtpic6bf.jpg[/img:7cdc2eb07c] |

I have mixed feelings for the first episode but will be continue to watch this for now as I like detective / mystery type of shows.
Lol, the finger pointing at the culprit brings back memories of Detective Conan and Detective Academy Q. |

the "mystery" factor of the show was a little...
well lets just say it wasnt conan material nor schoolQ..
the murder motive was totally... uhh.. whats the word... stupid? character motivation is important in detective shows imo, there should be an underlying motive that is at least believable in a sense, those kinds are present in conan and Q, but here it doesnt make sense at all.. nor was the idea of cooking all those drugs together can actually make for a monster serum.. that was just plain stupid..
sadlythis mix doesnt work for me.. how many lead girl characters have an hefty appetite for food already? finger pointing the criminal cliche is already much too... overused?

well, the anime is different from the manga. they rearranged a few things, but still is good. i'm sure it's not a serious mystery anime since Orunge said the author said it was strictly enterment manga. i'm looking forward to it _________________ Nankurunaisa |

well, I consider this anime as being very disappointing. I mean the concept of mystery obsessed demon is cool, but the crimes he solved arent. the criminals are mostly ( all, actually) bunch of psychos....not much splendid or fascinating crime investigations , deductions and thrills ( like Detective Conan, for eg ). Not much use of cool logic, outwitting , intellectual battles.. |

I actually dropped this series. Waited for it to be subbed completely and then forgot about it. It was only this year when I went looking for something to watch under the detective heading that I bumped back into this.
The early episode stories do not help the show. They repulse more then attracted me. However after the first few eps, it starts to get more interesting. The best arcs are the ones that took a few eps to complete. i still remember the story of the famous singer, I taught that was twisted but felt terribly sad!
Definitely not in the same league as Detective Academy Q but ok as a watch if you need something to fill the gap for detective show. Also since there isn't much deduction going on, so you can put you're magnifying glass away when watching this. |

Somehow, I still cant seem to like this anime. I mean , I know it's not supposed to be really like the mainstream detective anime...spotlight on crimes and stuff....but still....yeah....
Guess it just isnt my cup of tea |
