Well this release took a while, but with all that text to edit and the clean image at the end I'd say it was more than worth the wait. I know what happens next because of some raws, but I wonder what the hell Mello was thinking when he did this. Waiting for the next one!!

Oh crap it looks like Light is in trouble. I hope he can get out of this one. It was expected though considering Near was looking like an idiot last chapter, so I knew there had to be a turning point.[/i]

Damn it I know. I really hope that Ohba lets him pull some miracle using his watch, but I highly doubt it. Right now I'm kinda in denial. |

For chapter 99 (latest scanlated so I'm using tags):
How will Takada's death affect near's plans against Kira? it looks like she was expendable for Light, but I wonder how useful she was for Near.
One thing I'm really dissapointed with is Mello's lame death. What the hell did he think he was doing? it was obvious from the start that if Matt got busted he was dead, so "I didn't think they'd kill you" seems like an uncharacteristically lazy thought for someone so smart. I think that this chapter was done for the express purpose of killing mello, who had become a rather useless character by now. Maybe they could have got him bitten by a rabid dog and it wouldn't have made any difference. *sigh* peopl cared when L died, and now Mello also took off but without pain or glory.

In the detectives' team nly Near is left, along with his 3 aides. Light (cocky as always) is still confident in his plan, but not knowing Near's he may not be on top after all. I guess the stage has been set up for the endgame.
Light is pretty confident in Mikami, but Mikami seems to me a pretty ambitious fellow. I wonder if Mikami will turn against him. Anyway, hopefully Kira will be defeated by Near. Crossing my fingers here. Win, Near!!!

| Chapter 104 is out at TOWNL, you should go check it out. It is one of the best chapters in a long time. The chapter has me looking forward to next weeks chapter 105. |

Yes! Light has been exposed as Kira before everyone! Although he seems to have been outsmarted by Near and Mello (both kinda cooperated in the end) it is still possible for him to walk out of this one. I don't know how but he can do it. I hope he doesn't beacause I really want Near to destroy him. Can we finally say bye-bye to Kira? I sure hope so! Looking forward to 105, I'm sure that he'll make his move then.

After looking at the raw of 105:
Near made a key mistake by showing Light the line in the notebook with his name written on it. Light may have been surprised, but he's not stupid and must have picked it up immediately. That is probably why he comes out clean in 105. By the end of this chapter it is obvious that he intends to use the piece of death note he has on him as soon as he gets a chance. I was thinking that it is impossible for Kira to lose so easily and it is one of those times when I hate to be right. *sigh* I really did want Near to win this one, but I guess he got a bit too cocky in the end. With him out of the way everything will be over, and nothing will stand in the way of Kira.
