i can't remember the name and i was wondering if anyone here does.
The first episode was of a guy who was sleeping in his office or something of the sort. He goes into work and finds out he was put on some cooking team.
In the end someone challenges his cooking ability of which he didn't really feel like cooking in the first place. And he makes a dish that much better then their dish, except there's is some expensive steak, and his was some cheap fish.
Oh and i apologize if i'm posting this in the wrong place, but i didn't see the right place if this isn't it.. This is an anime i saw awhile back, i had planned on checking it out again when more episodes came out but i guess i sort of forgot to..

i tried copy and pasting the broken link thingy.. but it just took me to the main page..
anyway, do you know the anime?
EDIT: because you edited yours!!!
No it isn't Cooking Boy, that's the chinese one that hurt my ears.. i've seen that one before, and i can see why you can get them mixed up.. it's probably about as old as that to.. but it has been subbed.
and it's not in Chinese.. and it's a fully grown man.. who works.. and was at a job..

regarding the link, i thought because it was an old series i should ask it in this sub forum.. i read the text under each forum and it seemed like it would be best asked here..
There weren't any sticky threads about it, and i searched this page for any post about unknown anime anyway.. at least i put in some effort eh? |

ok i just started running through lists of anime's that involve cooking and chances upon it after a couple of hours..
Oishimbo
i don't know if this is the proper title though.. since i can't find it anywhere else..
anyone know if they used the right Name? Does it have an alternate name that everyone else uses? http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,1535,kukrkc,oishimbo.html
EDIT:
The Groumet
Is the title more commonly used, sadly it doesn't look like there's a subbed version officially done by any groups, and the one i saw oh so many years ago has disappeared.
It's sad, i weep for the anime children that only speak English of tomorrow.. They will never get to see this great series that inspires hope and joy in all. |
