i am wondering that too
i saw the 1st ep and i wrote this series off, i mean was she carrying the high heels and evening gown in the backpack with her for the right moment, wth? bond only wore evening wear where appropriate.
and then running back to save the guy and then getting attached to him had me thinking what a weirdo.
is it getting better? is she still wearing dresses in the jungle? |

I'm watching it and yes, Ep 7 really gave me a good impression of where this series is going... This is like Avengers done correctly. The mysterious pasts are there but they are actually interesting this time around, and the characters are so uniquely portrayed, especially Margaret, whose strange personality actually makes her a fairly interesting character (unlike Layla who was just badly conceived).
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how this turns out, especially those strange powers/things that keeps showing themselves. Ep 7 is the first time where both Madlax and Margaret play a big role in the same episode, so maybe they'll meet soon (though they seem to have met before, though it was a bit eerie how a shellshocked-looking Margaret uttered Madlax's name). |

I'm also watching madlax and it is one of my favourite shows at the moment.
Episode 7 was good, with every episode this show gives you just enough more information. Enough to keep you interested but not enough to quite know what will happen.
I was wondering what do others think about Eric Gillain. What is the incident that he can't remember? Could it be similar to what happened to margaret? |

Ep 8
Well the whole Eric Gillian Thing was kind of answered... Maybe I need to watch it again to get more out of it, pretty confusing. Not awful confusing but mysterious confusing. Though I am uncertain to if we are actually supposed to really know the details here. It does a good job of setting up just how dangerous those words can be.
More questions than answers in this ep. but it does seem like Margaret is going to get sucked into the whole thing pretty soon and that will make for a great climax.

Bond is a guy and I don't know how many times he has been in a tux or suit of some sort and gotten into or out of a fight with it on. (And barely scratched.) Sure it is still silly for her to suddenly be throwing on an evening gown but I'm sure not one to tell a lady when/where and what she should be wearing.
Females are just mysterious like that. ^_-
Best part of the ep. The whole "rashi" thing.
Eleanor: ...No, it is very like you./とてもお嬢様らしいとおもいます。
Margaret: I'm glad it's very like me./良かった、わたしらしくて
Eleanor: Miss Margaret, would you like meat or fish for your evening meal?/お嬢様今日の夕食はお肉にしますか、お魚にしますか。
Margaret: Pasta sounds good.../パスタが良いな。。。
Eleanor: Pasta again?/またパスタですか。
Margaret: Because (something like) pasta is so very like me./だって、私らしい物。
it may not sound as good in English but that was a classic line right there for me. Totally Margaret's character and a kick in the pants as well. That or maybe I'm just too easily amused.. ^^; Oh well, good keigo practice none the less. |

| Are any groups going to sub Ep. 26? It's kind of irritating for it to be licensed right before the last episode.. |

Did you actually get anime.fin's release? They're pretty HQ usually and translate their own subs (though I've only seen their Elfen Lied releases) |

| I was a tad bit dissapointed with MADLAX because it seemed like a bad copy of NOIR. |

I wouldn't say it's a "bad" copy of Noir, though just about every element in Madlax is present in Noir.
I liked both. I thought there were nice things about both of them. I guess I like them equally. lol. |
