lol, this is sort of off topic, but has anyone seen 9th gate? Because the representation of the devil in that movie is hot as hell.

Is it really better to reign in Hell than to serve in Heaven? That's what the fallen Lucifer thought when he was expelled from God's grace. At least that's what Milton says about the issue.

Basically what it comes down to is, are you a leader or a follower? I'd like to think I'm a good leader, but It's much less demanding to follow. Servants only have to worry about keeping their masters happy. Leaders have to keep all of their followers happy. Sometimes keeping followers happy is as simple as keeping them fed. If a leader enlightens his followers too much, they might rebel.

Well, first of all, is there really a physical plane to heaven and hell? Theoretically, there can't be. Flash decays and souls theoretically don't. Supposedly our souls are immortal, but obviously our bodies don't have that luxury. So, we are forced to ask, what is heaven and what is hell. Because, being an overlord of spiritual torture for part of eternity might be nice, but what is that metaphorical pit of fire really going to be? So we are then forced to ask, which version of heaven and hell are we talking about. The whole Dante version, or the whole eternal torture specific to you? Really, until some questions are answered, it's probably the safer and better choice to be a janitor. Why? Simple, because there theoretically is no real waste in heaven, so you get to screw around all day. While as an overlord, there's a lot of work to be done.
