Ok I got bitten by mosquitoes on my wrist in the vein where I could feel my heart beat. Holy shit that should be in a health warning, because after the mosquitoes bit the white blood cell act to care its spit that causes the itch. But flowing down the blood stream toward the heart. I believed I had some kind of cardiac problems because of that. I talked to my doctor and he tell me it's ok. Now when I go to sleep I follow what I know, it's to put long sleeve, long pant, socks and mosquitoes repellent.
Can someone give me some advice? |

resist the urge to scratch!
usually i scratch till theres blood. thats when you know you've scratched too much.
i slap the area until it goes pink and it doesnt itch anymore.
something that works is: a slight electric shock.
some camping stores sell these zappers that work when you get bitten, right after, use this shocker and the small voltage apparently kills the cells and the saliva so that it doesnt itch. im not entirely sure how it works, but it does.
ummm
close your windows when you sleep i guess? _________________ [img:567:138:151453bb6b]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/wahagifsda.gif[/img:151453bb6b]

You can't stop scratching can you?!? Well I think you can just bit yourself where the mosquitoes bit. That may counteract the itch. Make sure some spit is applied. ( Your own of course.) Maybe even try after shave that might help. try not to scratch and especially not scratching till it bleed. Just look nasty.... Nut the best bet is to go to any near pharmacy and buy a after bit lotion. Something like that.
And any blood sucker can't stand garlic so put some on the skin. |

Find any standing water and dump it, it will be a baby skeeter massacre. _________________ If violence isn't the answer, you didn't use enough.
Most people operate under a fundamental misconception:
they believe most if not all people are good
It is saddly verry much not so. |

there is also this rumor that mosquitos are attracted to the color blue...
how true that is remains to be seen but if its from Discovery Channel... well...
now regarding the mosquito bite in the vein... I don't really know how deep a mosquitoes proboscis goes down into your skin but I'm guessing its not that much... it has to go through the dermis, epidermis and then muscle and then the lining of the vein wall... besides, if it did manage to get into your veins it would have burst from all the blood rushing to its tiny little insect body... and if it IS the vein then its where the "dirty blood" filled with waste is... therefore its on its way to being cleaned up by your body anyways...
i think... _________________

I remember that they are attracted to a color but i don't know if it is blue =/
and i don't think they are cleaning ur blood since they leave "backwash" and that is where they infect u with the West Nile virus and u die D:
the ones that clean ur blood are Leeches not mosquitos =O
or at least clean u of bad blood _________________ (\__/)

bd>> i didn't mean mosquitos clean your blood... i mean since its the vein, the one that brings all the waste filled blood back into whichever part of the body that cleans and replenishes it...
but then again I just realized... whatever part of your body a mosquito bites, it will still end up hitting your blood stream... _________________

all the mosquito needs to get is the capillaries, and those are all over your body. it's not going for only veins or arteries; it goes for wherever there's warm.
isn't it amazing how so few antigens can cause such an uncomfortable allergic reaction? |
