i figured i'd start a speedpaint thread. we don't have one, and they are a fun way to clog up forums! (lol j/k)
here i'll start, and you guys post yours!
i did this today in 1 hour. i still love drawing anime, and i still appreciate the art, but i really steer away from it now because it's a bad way to go unless you have all the proper knowledge of drawing real people...i think anyways. but it's still fun to dabble a bit here and there. |

5 hours? "Speedy?" no wonder your work looks so good, I don't have the patience to sit around, drawing for five hours!
so says the guy who recently spent upwards of three months working on a digital girl... _________________ The pen is mightier than the sword

5 hours? Speedy?
Hahaha... hope you're joking...
I like the second piece by the way. Especially the clean outlines. Is is CG?

yep, i use photoshop. i'm looking into corel.
and yes 5 hours is pretty darn speedy. if your art isn't used to this kinda time it might make you think about it.
i spent 18 hours along on the snowy night picture. |

I agree that you do seem to take a long time working on your pictures ... the longes i have ever spent on a picture that i made on the computer is probably about 5 hours ...
i also have a very short "attention span" ... so i can't work on one thing too long untill i get bored w/ it and start working on something else ... you have NO idea how many unfinished works i have
but anyway ... when i think speed painting ... i think like 15-20 min ... |

well, for a photoshop painting, 5 hours is pretty damn good
but if ur talking about pencil/pen, u must be on drugs or something if it takes u 5 hours (unless u color it, neatly shade it, add a background, etc)
newayz, the "quick" painting is cool, once again reflecting ur "dreamyish" personal style of painting that we've been seeing coming from u. _________________ GG |
