I don't think this is much of a discovery. Methylation of DNA is a form of regulation of it's transcription. You could say human genome changes everyday. _________________ Dv

It's a well known fact that stress, especially prolonged bouts of depression can be disastrous on a person's health.
Some people die soon after retirement, maybe the message they're sending to their DNA is, it's useless to go on. |

Actually, this explains to me how Jacob was able to make the offspring of the strong sheep and goats in Laban's flocks have stripes and spots, while leaving the weak ones with pure coats.

| Epigenetics and Evolution are different. The genomes in a single individual may change, but those changes probably won't be passed to future generations. It's adaptation, not evolution. |
