Synopsis & Reviews
Saw the OP, seems to have aired recently so no subs yet.
Its got Aya Hirano..... and um magical 10 year old girls
Hoping its decent, and reasonably rapidly subbed. |

Heh, yeah, totally agree. Somehow its like a combination of Code E and Kiddy Grade. Very fun so far though. Depending on their direction, this definitely looks like a show I'll be following. |

Ah, this is the kind of show I like to watch to turn my brain off and laugh at something for a bit. I'm not expecting anything great from it, but as long as it makes me smile, it's a good one in my book.
Good enough to keep me watching, at least. _________________

The First episode was a filler???
That's an interesting way to start it off <_<
DLing the first two eps to see how it goes... *shakes her head at the amount of anime she was not aware was coming out this spring*
*EDIT*
Just watched the first episode...
Reminds me of Powerpuff Girls for some reason <_< _________________ [img:500:100:c4fd14f873]http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/1606/kirbysigcopyou0.jpg[/img:c4fd14f873]

Episode 2 was completely different tone than episode 1.....
I mean Ep 2 was serious like a heart attack.
Ok so they hit on the standard 'Lvl 7 espers weren't allowed to have normal childhoods standard fare'
But also Kaoru gets some head trauma which causes her telekenises to go out of control ending up pinning her to the earth crushing her own body.
SO she ends up giving herself a stroke to turn off her brain to stop the chaos, yeah yeah Ryugo knows CPR and an ambulance was already on scene but still, Wonder if she'll turn other peoples hearts off if she gets PO-ed later.

| Anyone else notice how quickly Kaoru had her shirt done up? First its open while getting CPR, a second later, is buttoned all the way up. Just thought it was funny, the obvious change. |

lol, I love the "Babel" reference, I should check out this anime.
By the way, just to nit-pick, the alternate title in the synopsis page...
I am pretty sure "Karen" means "pitiful, unfortunate, etc." not "lovely" |

According to my dictionary:
(adj-na,n) poor; pitiful; cute; sweet; lovely. _________________ Dv |

As shown by dv, both are correct. it depends on the context used.
In this context, it does mean "lovely"
Another example would be "kawaii"
"kawaii so na" usually used tp mean "so pitiful"
but as we all know, kawaii is used to mean cute as well. |

Learning Japanese, just one of those things that I eventually plan on getting around to doing. Oh well, thats life putting off things that we think we should do.
Back on topic, I agree that the tone is rather light for such an ecchi show. I think the targeted audience is the Lolicons out there. Or maybe just those that like ecchi stuff with a semi-serious back-tone. So far after 4 episodes I would give it a "7" on the review scale. |
