SEF Subs - are these guys a new speed sub on the block?

quick introduction - Long time anime-source user, really crappy about posting and participating. I have like 2 years of anime conventions and stuff to put up but I'm beyond lazy.

Back to subject: I was scouting around mininova and I glanced at the anime section. Usually there is nothing new there that hasn't been posted on this site or Tokyo toshokan but there was a release of soul eater 23 out. Im like WTF when did this come out. I checked here and Tokyo T and nothing. I was pretty surprised and I am dling it now. I will let you know if its a raw or not. If not we might want to add them to whatever place the daily releases are checked from. I need my anime as soon as possible!!! Cool

Well, it's not a fake since I watched it but they put the Karoake sub and the anime sub in 2 different files (Which confuse me at the first place since I was thinking they only subbed the Karaoke).

Basically, you have to switch the sub files whenever you want to read the karaoke or the anime translation.

Quality speaking, it's not the greatest I've ever seen. They are speedsubbers even though they don't aim to be speedsubbers. The encoders of the team could still improve for H.264 and for some reason, they even have a .mp4 version of the file that doesn't really have any difference than the .mkv.

Yeah after I had watched it, I was wondering were the karoake subs where but figured they may be a new group and hadnt gotten around to it yet. I finally found their site after the link was posted on Tokyo T and they seem ok.

In the end, I just enjoy decent quality anime as soon as possible. When I want high quality I'll just dl a later version for the storage drive. If they keep putting them out I'll watch it.
