| I'm looking for anime characters with sad pasts and that are either insane, apathic,sad, weird etc... here are two examples: krona from soul eater and asuka from neon genesis evangelion. |

crazy with a sad past... hmmmm...
she's probably not "crazy," but she is quite messed-up in da head, and her backstory always makes me teary-eyed: Suigintou from Rozen Maiden
only other crazy person I can think of right now is that silver-haired pedo, Albedo from Xenosaga, but his deprived mental-state is more defined in the PS2 game than in the anime spin-off.

psh...ever heard of the show dragonaut?
its the main character's best friend turned enemy who always screams JIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! once with a look or rage and the other times with an eye patch that is clearly being used wrong
i cant remember the name of the guy, or anyone in it since the whole show was a clusterf@ck that my brain didn't allot the necessary memory storage to recall them
nonetheless the women in there were pretty hot, if not excessively top-heavy
