I am kind of shocked that no one post a topic about the movie Twilight, I mean Twilight has been on the rampage during their premiere, thousand of fans were waiting to see that movie.

A lot of people (I think all the girls fans) are loving the actor who played Edward Cullen. Because of the movie, Robert Pattinson (he also acted in harry potter as Cedric) became quite popular and all the girls fan consider him as the perfect man, well because the book describe the character as a perfect man... I personally dont find Robert Pattinson attractive or find him as a perfect guy for a girl (I am girl by the way =) ) |

on the contrary, i think it was pretty ridiculous.
the scenes were good, the dialogue was horrible. some scenes
are so laughable that me and my friends crack each other up
saying it aloud, so props for them being able to deliver it.
huge controversy with twilight being that it on many levels does
not coincide with many vampire traits. rather than burn, boils,
or other unsightly outcomes from being exposed to sunlight...
they "glitter/sparkle."
robert pattinson's cute, but in an unconventional way. his face
is kinda awkward but does have quite a bit of character in it i
guess. it's a horrible fandom though. little 12 year olds throwing
their panties at you... *shudder*
the novels aren't that great either. i've read them all and honestly,
the last one was ass. like... unwashed ass. _________________ "The basis of optimism is sheer terror."

I've heard all about the all wonderful glitters~
Depending on what vampire folklore, I think many old ones don't have vampires burning when expose to sunlight. Rather they're weaken or simply can't use their supernatural powers.
Well I haven't and probably never will see Twilight. But anyone got a screenshot or clip of any vampire sparkling? I'm so amused of this sparkling thing, lol. _________________

I actually enjoyed the movie, although it wasn't 'good' by any means... Enjoyable? Yeah.
Story idea is nice enough, but the high school setting is a bit boring and while the acting is ok... It's just not worth the hype - as is pretty usual with anything that is so popular.
My sister likes to describe Twilight as 'a book about horny vampires' ... that's close enough to what it is I guess. I've read the first one and the story is, again, amusing enough. Just doesn't mean it's good xD |

that's a lie!
i went to chapters to look at the new breaking dawn when it came
out and i spent 10 mins searching for the non-existent sex scene.
i was scammed i tell you!
however, they are incredibly creepy...
i mean mothers are reading this to their children, daughters are thinking
that edward cullen is THE man. yet in the book at one point he goes "i've
been watching you for a few months now" BEFORE they started dating...
now if any normal guy did that, hello restraining order~ _________________ "The basis of optimism is sheer terror."

That's why you need to buy a good pair of binoculars. It's easier to hide in the bushes several hundred yards away than it is right outside the window. _________________ The pen is mightier than the sword

My friend recently got obsessed ... and she equated it to a similar addiction as Harry Potter.
... I am still unwilling to conform... maybe when I have time to become obsessed with things ^^;; _________________ Get ready to vote for who you think is the Sexiest Anime Character!! |

The movie was better than the books, but that's not saying much. When I saw both I was thinking...In this day-in-age I'm sure we'd equate that to...STALKING!!! _________________ "Why does one death matter against so many?
