|
|
Well I decided to burn a copy of Full Moon wo Sagashite (not licensed as far as I know, someone should though!) since she always kinda enjoyed anime and would watch stuff on my computer when she was over.
52 Episodes equals approx 14 CD-Rs... and I didn't want to give some blank cheap looking CD-Rs so on to the great project of making them look relatively nice... heh.
I tried to cut down some time buy searching for most of the pictures online but a few pictures were from screenshots I took.
Then the complicated task of cutting and resizing and redrawing parts of the pictures to fit a circle. This step is over simplified but takes the most time, plus the afk subs tend to have that little timer on the side and redrawing to get it out takes a lot of time =/
Then comes the printing.. and the awful task of getting the printer to lineup with the CD stickers. Once that was done, the printing was okay.
So after several hours, my project is finally done =)
Here are the pictures I used =)
Even though I tried to keep everything basic so it'll print out nicer and take less time, the whole thing still took a whole day.
Hopefully she'll enjoy this series =) |

Lol, Kaiser, you should go into the bootlegging business
Btw that's a lot of CDs, it might have been easier to use DVD-Rs (you'd need about, uuh... 2?) |

They're not. Most DVDs are 25-50c a piece now if bought in larger quantities. Actually a 100-pack of CDs costs more than a 100-pack of DVDs. Not to mention that a DVD can fit as much data as 7 cds. Which makes burning on CDs a really really bad deal. |

Dvds are cheap now but dvds were expensive 3-2 years ago. In terms of size capacity and prize, dvds rules over cds now. |

two DVD +/- R's or 14 CD R's ? i don't feel like figuring out ... so someone else can =P |

I don't think any DVD drives from the last 2-3 years have trouble reading DVD-Rs.

2 DVDs = 50 cents
14 CDRs = 5 bucks |
