Hey, I thought this was licensed by dark horse comics? How come it's up here for download? Anyway, this is probably the best manga I've read so far, I'm gonna check out Vagabond next time, they both won Japan's prestigious media awards or something like that.

manji and rin meet up again

so what do u guys think, do manji and rin have a brother/sister relationship or do they have a real thing for each other? manji says something at the end of this issue. wow i think he really missed her. Wink

also do u think manji and anotsu r going to both go for her? aaahh the suspense

btw manga admins. they put extra artwork in that back of the issues sometimes. they had 2 xtra dwgs in #89. i can post them to the server if u want.

do you think manji and rin will end up together? i think manji sees rin as more than a little sister. but anotsu is a big question mark for me.

(am i the only one that has to read some of the fight scenes 3-4 times to get the flow of the action. i am a manga amateur so i can't tell if his sketchy style or me)

my favorite thing about this manga is the facial expressions. they convey such subtle emotions sometimes. and i am always amazed at how he can take simple acts but use unique closeups or focuses to portray them.

is anyone reading the japanese series?

If anyone is looking for summary of the manga I know of a website. The reviews are from some dude who can read japanese and happens to read the manga. It goes really far ahead of what has been published in english through Dark Horse. If you want to look it up the website do a search on google it was pretty easy to find. Also for some of the latest releases you can find someone on the manga-sketchbook irc channel who has it. But you will be looking for a long time due to the number of Fservs going on in that channel. Sorry for not posting the website but I don't remember what it is off the top of my head.

blade of the immortal rocks!!!! its one of the bests mangas ive ever readed!The drawings r so original very good! i got all the volumes until now in my bookcase(a live in brasil so i really dont know if i have all of them but i have from volume 1-14) i really dont have much diferent mangas, i read the most of them on internet but i have neon genesis evengelion(all of them) i buyed them at the internet but the mangaka of evangelion is only making 1 volume each year so its starting to get boring... But I HAVE HOPE yep thats the spirit. I alsow have ragnarok.

blade of the immortal is the best manga with samourai and he is must real than other manga like kenshin etc

Blade of the Immortal is an amazing samurai manga that apart from the whole worms thing provides very realistic fight scenes. I mean the guy isn't like kenshin and is uber strong. Hes put through hell with each fight he does and thats kinda what i like about this manga. True the plot does deviate for a bit but towards the end they end up back with the assasination. Oh yeah there are some parts that are definately not for the faint-of-heart!!!

Vagabond is also a good samurai manga, i actually prefer Vagabond to Blade of the immortal.

now this is my series. i been trying to tell you peeps to check it out, its great. i got it till chapter 13 and even futher loose chapters. im at chapter 98 right now, 99 is gonna come out any time now. this was actually the first manga (manga as in comic not anime, thats was way back in 84 or 85 maybe 86) i got way back in 96 or 7. i have volume 1 paperback and the rest on cd and HD. great artist, great story, great characters and even greater is the manga in its enirety. this has been my favorite manga since 96/7. and im also reading bleach and naruto so you can guess how much i likle this manga.

really great that we got this gem, sorta like samurai shodown 2 back in the days. and for the peeps asking about vagabond, check it out. its better than most of the mangas posted on this site, in my adult opinion that is. not for little kids, same goed for blade. vagabond is really drawn beautifully, and the artist got some mad skilzz. more manga sort of art in this one than in blade, however i do like the art for both very much but blade just a little bit better. in contrary to samussn i deffenitelly like blade better than vagabond, but just a little bit. both should make any adult very happy. or any kid that feels adult allready, when i was little i always watched everything with dad or uncles, or even by my selfe (like any kid from the 80's or 70's and before). and i turned out ok. just a little evil and sarcastic haha Twisted Evil
