The first part I can agree with, but the second part not really. Most people get their manga and anime from companies like that. Also, these people want to make money, so they license whatever they think will turn them a profit. I'm more surprised at what hasn't been licensed.

I'v just read the first volume of it. Its realy good. thought not perticuarly funny, but I like the mystery behind it.
this manga reminds me of Chobits.... |

| I just read the first volume and I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who was reminded of Chobits. It's kind of cute and it has its charm, but it doesn't really stand out in my mind. |

| You can buy the manga "Dears" since last year in Germany. I have all volumes and i think the manga is even better then the anime. |

| Some peopel hosted the DearS but I thought it had to do with animals that I got confused with so I didn't bother but I see that it's quite popular now and is it a good story line? |
