you guys should stop hating and raging.
You shouldnt compare FMA 2 with FMA 1 saying that the 'original' is better since FMA 1 isn't the original. The original is the manga, if you don't like FMA 2 then too bad. FMA 2 was intended to focus and follow the main storyline in the manga.

Care to be more specific?
I don't know about the other members, but I don't recall anyone saying that the first series is the 'original'.
When I say I didn't like FMA2, I only said that I didn't like the humor style and the directing style... because the first one did what were basically the same scenes much better. In fact, I did point out in my previous post that I consider the manga's plot ( and by extension, FMA2) as being better.
Or perhaps you were referring to what ulti said

If so, then yes, I somewhat agree with what you said, since this is meant to be the intended concept for the homunculus to begin with (and I don’t mind saying that I prefer the manga’s concept). |

I agree that FMA1 had better art. However, I like the extra humour introduced in FMA2...
Anyway, in my opinion, the start of FMA2 was bad. Basically a crappier version of FMA1. Now that the stories have diverged, FMA2 is turning out to be one of my favourite current animes. |

i skipped through all the previous posts so sorry if its been answered.
when does brotherhood start to differ from the old anime arc? i watched up to like ep 5 ages ago and stopped cause nothing different was happening. |

| the show is trying to pull a LOST on us. it's an alternate reality! lol. in my opinion they should have just reversed the footage, so left is right and right is left. yeah that would make for a better show than brotherhood. |

Somehow this show seems to drag on and on.. and I can't believe I find myself hating some of the main characters.
I don't care if this one follows the manga more closely, it could have been done better. |
