What anime character's voice is the coolest/cutest/scariest you've ever heard.
My question is who is you're favorite voice actor.
You don't have to give the name of a voice actor, you can just give the name of the character, what series he is in and what if its in the english/japanese or whatever version.

I have no clue yet as I haven't seen that many anime yet, but if i would have to chose i would say Demon-eyes Kyo from samurai deeper kyo, the japanese version.
Think he sounds pretty cool.

So whats yours??

seems to me that the generally accepted opinion is that....

the original Japanese actors are > than English <dubbed> actors. i tend to agree with them... if you ever saw Full Metal Panic? in both english and japanese.... >_< Shocked Evil or Very Mad .... uggh...

so i do like the Japanese voice actors better... but not the squeaky girly vioce actors... like they were on helium or something... i mean... how many girls can talk like that???

personal favorite ~ Aion from Chrno Crusade (so manly... kinda what Sephiroth would sound like if Square did voice acting for FF7) Wink Laughing

haha you know its true... in almost any anime there is

the main character
the spaz
the gorgeous girl (everyone would like to bang)
and the little girl that squeaks like a mouse on LSD

but then the english voice actors come in and ruin that even more....

As far as shounen romance shows are concerned, yeah. Trendy voice acting is very characteristic for the mainstream.

English:
- Magical Maid Koyori from Nurse Witch Komugi (Kira Vincent Davis)
- Miharu Sena Kanaka from Girls Brano (Michelle Ruff)
- Madlax from Madlax (Nancy Novtony)
- Margaret Burton from Madlax (Luci Christian)
- Eclair from Kiddy Grade (Colleen Clinkenbeard)
- the cast of Comic Party

Japanese:
- the entire cast of Mahi-HiME
- Milfeullle Sakuraba from Galaxy Angels
- Ranpha Franbose from Galaxy Angels
- Renton from Eureka Seven
- Suisei Seki from Rozen Maiden
- Lila from Najica Blitz Tactics

As I always say, I think your preference for english versus japanese depends on which one you first. You tend to identify the voice you hear first as the "right" voice. Whenever I watch the english version first, I usually prefer it over the japanese voice and vice versa.
