[Back at the Dojo...

Julie:*A pale expression paints her face* Mello do you feel that?

Mello:*Takes in a deep breath* .....A broken soul *shuts his eyes as he tries to scan the soul of the spirit* Mother?......but it can't be.. *suddenly gets up from the table* I must go.

Yoshi:*Gets up* I'll go to Mello

Julie:*smirks* All for one and one for all *gets her short knives* lets go.

[The storm is coming...

[All that is beautiful is turned over by the ugly...

Mello:*kicks open the Dojo doors and takes off towards town*

Yoshi:*takes to the skies as her wings spread*

(Chants can be heard)

[One woman stands in the middle of town as the trees bend from her chi pressure]

Mother Rose:*Stops chanting* Its been a long time my children.


Julie:*stops in her footsteps*

Mello:*comes to a complete stop as tears start to rain down his face* Mother...you...did this?

Yoshi: Mother??!?!?

Mother Rose:*Smiles*Of course I did son. This all is for your father my dear *licks the blood from her finger* he'll need ALOT more bloodshed in order to enter the gates of Eden. *peerrs over her bloody hands towards him* mine giving me a hand?

[Mother is gone...
[She died fighting for me..

Mello:(yells) What are you doing!!! *fist shake as his emotions get to him* You died while fighting for the good of humanity *looks down* you wouldn't do this Mother!!

Julie:*tries to comfort Mello*

Yoshi:*grows enraged* Mello fought all this way to bring you back and make you proud *stabs the ground with her sword* how could you hurt him like that??....*chi surrounds her* ITS UNFORGIVENABLE!!!!!! *takes off towards Mother Rose * How dare he call you Mother!!!

Julie:*tries to stop Yoshi* No don't charge her!!!

Yoshi:*swings in mid-air with her sword as she prepares a second attack*

Mother Rose: Foolish child this has nothing to do with you *quickly cuts Yoshi down as blood spills onto the earth*

Yoshi:*Falls to the ground without a sound* Mello...i'm..sorry *slowly her breathing becomes faint* I...love..yo-

Julie:*looks over to Yoshi's body* You monster!! *beings to take out her short knives*

Mother Rose:*with two fingers shoots a beam right through Julie* Don't disrespect your elders my dear daughter

Julie:*drops her short knives as she drops to her knees* Damn..


Mello:*looks down at Yoshi's cold body and then towards Julie who is barely clinging onto life* Why can't things just be easy for me? *tears run down his face as he starts laughing*

Mother Rose:*Smirks* So you agree my son?

Mello:*his hair covers his face* Yoshi....Julie...*walks over and picks up Yoshi's sword and holds it tight in his right hand* why did you hurt them? Why hurt me? *looks at the blade in his hand* all i wanted was a normal life *suddenly memories start rushing into his head*

Mother Rose: People died for the greater of reasons my son didn't i teach you that before my death? *snaps her fingers as Yoshi suddenly starts breathing* If you want to play god my son you'll have to kill me but if you fail *snaps her fingers once again as Yoshi suddenly stops breathing* all will disappear do you really want that?

[Suddenly i could see clear...
[My father and mother were the devils behind this town so long ago...
[My father took on the shape of Luna as he killed my mother over power as the real Luna kept my sister busy until father could return to her...
[I was only the God of humanity because my parents where both the chaos and death which filled the world...
[The heavenly hand wasn't trying to take my life away but to save it because...

[I was the only spirit able to stop such madness but if i failed so would humanity..

Mello: I see now...

Mother Rose:*smiles* well my son have you made your choice?

Mello:*starts laughing* I know the truth now *massive chi pours from his body* I'll kill every single one of you demonic failures.

Mother Rose:*smirks* you lie you don't have such power

Mello:*Chi keeps reaching new levels* Its been a while since i was a kid mother *starts laughing as he swings the sword so loud that it breaks the sound barrier* I'll kill you to Mother...

Authors notes: So finally the truth spills out and it seems like the all which Mello has looked for has been in vain. Mello's mother was actually the grim reaper and his father was chaos itself...so born from such evils was he; a pure hope for humanity, the savour of those in need, and the hope ray of lay in this dark world.

Not to mention Yoshi...is she gone? and what about his sister Julie who fell just as quick as Yoshi? Are they forever lost?

So many questions so little time,

I am sorry, but this chapter is a bit weaker than the previous ones.
Mello's reactions feel a lot unnatural and not fitting the situations too much.
He isn't surprised when he sees his dead mother alive, and there isn't much sense in his laugh when Julie and Yoshi are dying in front of his eyes.
Well, next time it will be better.
