i am not following up on anime thats coming out lately so heres another question its been a long time since i saw ep 6, has this series finished yet and the fansubs are that slow or are they releasing the ep every two or three weeks?

They are sllllloooooooow... Akraze and Aone (Whom I think gave up on it finally) are doing just what you mentioned. Every other week if you are lucky. Ep. 12 aired last week on the 3rd. I am not quite sure if there will be 13 ep. or not. Will find out tomorrow when I pick up the June Newtype.

the intro is great, and i am not sure but for some reason it sounds like the music was made by the same guy that made music for berserk(Hirazawa Susumu) but i am probably wrong, btw is the ost for this show out yet?

Shonen Bat Returns

Anime News Network reports that Geneon has officially confirmed plans to retain the original Japanese name "Shonen Bat" in the subtitle track of the forthcoming Paranoia Agent DVD release. Geneon's initial marketing translated the name "Shonen Bat" to "Lil' Slugger," which caused a small controversy in the fan community over the impression that "Lil' Slugger" was not a translation which retained the meaning and integrity of the original Japanese name.

Yay! Chalk one up for the fans. Smile

I've only seen the first few episodes so far (only 4 :/ ...), but Paranoia Agent is so far really good. It doesn't look like many people have seen it (but then again it's not a show for everybody). It's gotta be one of my current favourites.

Yeah the intro is pretty crazy but it works for the show!

First they come up with "Lil Slugger", then come to their senses and drop the dumb name. Then I get The Right Stuf news letter and the description of the first DVD mentions... "Lil Slugger". Ack!!!! Typo or did somebody drop the ball on this one?

The series is a good brain teaser, especially the first half. It gets a bit weaker towards the end but the biggest contraversy is probably the ending. Some dislike it, although I thought that it generally fit in with the theme of the show. Quirky series like this are always difficult to end in a way that satisfies most people.
