Just watched the latest.Very good! Things are getting exciting again. Gimmer is one of my favorite characters. He's so cool!

dunno i ahve a love/hate thing for him... cause i hate the way he always smiles and yet even through his smiles u see this cunningness... for example at the end wiht the child abuser... dunno i guess ill make up my mind about him in enxt ep or so

Gimmer is a character I took an instant liking too. Hope to see more of him.

From reading the manga, I can say that Grimmer will be back and will be important. I'm a bit behind in my Monster viewing, and I'm really happy that they've finally gotten to Grimmer...

He was my favourite character from the manga.

Yeah watching ep 42 really shows he's gonna play a big role in story. Great episode by the way, though a bit hard to watch torture scenes because they really got the sound good.

And I absolutely love Grimmer now! This episode really showed his character off and his values. Was hard to watch him being tortured

But now so many questions unanswered!

How many people does Johan have working with him? Who was the woman who saved him (I'm guessing Nina, yet I have my doubts cause she killed one guy wiht a shot and the rest beat them to death. The one shot hints at her since she got a lot of gun training but the beating to a pulp? O-o?)? How does the videotape show the inner Monster of Johan? What was the message Grimmer gave to the orphan? WHAT is in Grimmer's BIG a** bag? And what does Grimmer mean by he did it again? Did he get into a deadly situation like that before? Is Grimmer really a spy?

All these unanswered questions are killing me!

Also, just so you know lol, I really thoguth something big would happne with him lol. Though I was saying in my head that nothing supernatural can happen in Monster lol since they make it realistic lol. Also thought Tenma would come to rescue but oh well..either Nina or someone else I guess :\

What are your thoughts on episode?

I could tell you, but it would spoil an excellent story and character. But, if it is killing you, highlight the spoiler.

Grimmer beat them all to a pulp, because he has a 'special' condition. It is his various 'special' qualities, such as being a spy, that make him my favourite character.

Never! I won't highlight lol... I wanna keep the suspense all bottled up until the very last minutes of ep 76. This of all things I must not spoil hehe! I'm just hoping this won't get licensed and if it does some group still subs it hopefully :\

Nina hasn't kill yet with a gun and I'm reserving my judgement on it until they give me hard proof that she is the killer. All they have been doing is drawing the dots and making it so that we would connect the them but I feel that they are doing it in such a heavy handed manner that I have to seriously doubt that she has turned killer (though I do not doubt her proficiency with a gun).

On top of which Dieter is travelling with her and he always managed to anchor Tenma so that he did not become a killer. I beleive he does the same for Nina.

Also if Nina is actually a killer now, then will the reflection of the monster change or will we have twin images then?

maybe the killer is the twins' mother, after all she is living right there in Prague and she and Nina should look alike

also when Grimmer says he did it again, doesn't he mean that he did his "amazing steiner" thing and killed the two guys himself?

Oh my god, the twist of fate...
Nina's gone mad from reading the book and probably executed Deiter, just to start rampaging and killing all who's connected to her past. And also starts to play mind-games with people.

I don't want another Johan, but on the other side, now they can kill of Johan and start hunting Nina. Maybe Tenma'll join her too, after all, he probably likes her as much as she likes him.

I'm utterly confused now though, what has happened, and where is the series going? I ain't got a clue.
