not really that hard to grasp the basic of guitar...

I've been playing the violin for about 8 years. =] I used to play the piano -I took lessons for about 7 years before my schedule got very crammed, and I chose to keep violin and drop piano.

I've been playing violin for 9 years now, except now i've progressed from classical music to trying jazz and bluegrass.....
I wonder any other violinists learning/playing jass and bluegrass here?
Improvising and stuff like that?

tho i wanna learn how to play an electric guitar, drums, piano and violin

I can play a few instruments. I can play the viola (learned from school), harmonica (I learned on my spare time to play some blues), and the guitar (well I can't really play well, but still a bit).

Piano - 10 years
Violin - 9 years
Harmonica - 7years
Flute - 5 years
Tenor Sax - 2 years
Guitar - 20 hours then I quit.

I used to play the piano (about 4 years), then the oboe for about 2 years (trust me, the oboe sounds fun and its cool and all, but it kills cause it is like a cross between a flute and a clarinet so the teacher had no way of grouping my individual self... i had to play and screw up by myself Crying or Very sad

). I recently started learning the guitar by myself Very Happy

I play

-> the piano for about 9 years and private lessons with my teacher, stopping this year (last yr high skool. etc) then might cotinue next year.

-> guitar, lol sorta learned a little when my brother was learning, completey forgoten hot to play now

-> Recorder, ahh good ol' primary days where they make you sue a ruler or glue stick if u forgot to bring ur recorder to school

-> And one of them lil flute thingy that Link (from zelda) plays the Orcarina (something similar anyway ^^) ...dunno how to spell it

though some instruments i wanna learn are the violin, drums and harp

I taught myself piano. My elementary school music instructor taught me the recorder and I worked off of that knowledge of notes. Later on I took a class with her for piano and it helped, but I don't play too much now. I would really like lessons though.

i played the clarinet for 4 years and recently that is i mean 2 year now started the guitar

the clarinet i started in high school learning in a music class
and the guitar is self taught

I play e-bass now for about 1 month, I just love it!
Before I played keyboard for about one year and then I quit, it was kinda boringt and not like myself... But my bass is just like me ^^
I hope to start a band with a friend, she plays drums... But we are still noobish ^^'

i play guitar, even if i play guitar it doesnt make me as someone who just listen to country lol. i just like the way is the guitar. it's a nice instrument and if i can, one day, i'd like to learn to play piano. i didn't by piano because it cost too much and when i was young i wanted to play music. so now you know that i play guitar when i have time. i learn to play guitar by myself.

I play the piano, and will be taking my grade 7 exam at some point this year o__o (eep) I've been playing it since I was 5 and still love playing it Smile

I taught myself how to play more challenging piano scores after i turned 11, since having a piano teacher for that long gets kinda costly evidently ^^;;
I've always wanted to play the drums, the saxophone and guitar. Hopefullly i'll save enough money to get one of them (too bad they're so darn expensive ><, especially the saxophone x.x)
