I have this game and that is pretty annoying. What i do is once one of my characters get confused, right away i switch to another character and cast a spell to take of the confused status...Thats pretty much all i remember bacause i havent played the game in a long time....it falls into my pasted the game pretty far so i stopped playing it so it wont end phase.......not a good phase ill tell you because when i finally do want to finish it i dont remember the story so i go ahead and start playing it all over again then it falls back into the phase......But whatever lol oh yeah maybe some armor gaurds against confusion? Anywayz

| Use items to cure it? Or just don't use Heavy Blade/Heavy Axemen/Blade Master characters, since they are the most susceptible to confuse (if I remember). Try using more Wavemasters since their defence against mental effects like that is high. |

I wouldn't know. I got too frustrated by the game's combat system and bored by the dull graphics to continue on. I thought it would be much better when I bought it. I was really disappointed in this game.
Sorry, just wanted to add my two cents. |

the confusion isn't that much of a problem but moving the storyline and leveling up can get annoying.
Too linear for me. |

| The confusion isn't really a problem, just use an item, like the others said, the moment someone gets affected. For me, the real problem showed up on the later discs, having to constantly data drain, hunt for virus cores, and get massive infection levels. That sucked. |

| I'd recommend it, but remember, get the games in order! It goes Infection, Mutation, Outbreak then Quarentine. Oh, and a few tips... stock up on potions and status cures and train lots so you can save time later on. |

| Have a wavemaster in your party and have him stick to casting heals. If he has a spell, a property of a piece of equipment, to realign your characters to normal, the wavemaster will use it. This may not be an option in the first installment though. The next game, mutation, plays much better than the first. A good party always has a wavemaster in there and to set his strategy to heal team during the fights, you can use items to heal. I also like a long arm or blademaster in the party, in that order. Actually, unless you are fighting a boss, wave masters don't really matter, but it is good to have one of the wave masters up there, plus they have to go into the party some times later on. |

Yeah, but the detailed storyline through-out the whole .Hack story makes up for it at least. I went from .Hack //Sign to reading the .Hack //Dusk manga and anime *manga's better*
Also be around level 30 when u fight Skeith *big wand feller*. You'll know when your about to fight because something that never happened in the game so far will happen at that moment *coughbraceletcough*
I recommend getting just Infection and Quarantine. Mutation and Outbreak are pretty much are just about failed alliances and wild goose chases. All the graphics and work were put into Infection and Quarantine. Plus the ending ROCKS |

i would say to use the equipment that give you the ability to heal it or at least keep a lot of the curing items around _________________ Want advice DONT WORK AT WALMART... Theres your freebie... |
