does anyone know some good irc channels to get manga from?? 
......theres also something i dont understand about the channels. when you type them in, for example "yanime@irchighway.net" would i have to put it this entire address or jest #yanime or what?? |

| I think it depends on what version? of IRC you downloaded. I use SysReset and I have to input #______ in a certain area and click on the the corresponding channel in a different area. |

Just type like this on irc it is easier...
/server irc.irchighway.net
after connected...
/join #yanime

| most probably the server do not have to change, it depends on the channel that you join, that's the most important thing |

| For IRC find the manga you want and then find a group who subs. Any group that subs will have a chan on IRC. Find what server they are on and then enter their chan. Lastly figure a way to dl whatever it is you are looking for. Learn XDCC or someone who is serving. If you don't understand what I'm talking about then that can only mean you have no idea how to use IRC. Learning IRC will be your first step. Use Manga-Jouhou or Dailymanga for updates or finding the manga you want. Use baka-updates for anime. |

A-S has a channel 
its #anime-source @ irc.rizon.net so get in here! ^^
and then as nathaniel said, use www.manganews.net to find the manga and groups of which you wanna get your manga and then jpin their irc channel (all the info is on the site)
and if you have any more questions just ask in the irc channel! good luck!
