New Sonic or Old Sonic??

I liked Sonic 2 so much that I even anticipated about the release of a third title in the series. I was probably eight and it was the first time thinking about up coming video games.
Sonic 2 had a good mini game and a second player race. I don't think that Mario did this very well.

I like them both, but I have taken more of an interest in the new Sonic because they seem ot build more character and his shoes look better =P

I'm biased by the designs, bite me lol

Original old school sonic but still I just find sonic games tedious and repetitive after a while. The initial 'woah he's going so fast' just wears thin now although when I first played sonic games I thought it was amazing. Don't really like 3D sonic it just feels slower and without that sense of blistering speed it doesn't feel like it's sonic. I know a lot of people will disagree so...... *runs away*

I liked the Sonic Adventure game for Dreamcast (Not GameCubes Directors Cut) it was the coolest game for its time in my opinion, to this day it is awesome. Not to mention I liked Sonic's personality and the way everyone's story line interacted with the other characters.

I think it's kind of silly to draw a line between "old" and "new" Sonic. Sonic has had his ups and downs, but I there have been a lot of recent good games and a lot of old bad games.

Of course, that doesn't change the fact that Sonic 3 & Knuckles was the best game EVER.
