Original just seemed easier and funner in a way than the new. The new seems all cheaply thrown together for sega to make a quick buck or something but they have quite a fun factor.

My first computer game ever was Sonic 2 for the Mega Drive/Genesis.

That was 13 years ago. I still play it maybe once a week, the last time being yesterday.

i just gonna go with the flow and follow everyone else, the old sonic is is alot better. i used to remember watching the sonic cartoons when i was little and i used to love watching him turn super.

Old sonic was better because it was simple, just another 2D scroller, while the newer ones are in 3D and have a large cast that are not as appealing as the old school Sonic and Knuckles and Tails

I remember there was this glitch in Sonic2 on the first level you could complete the level under 30 seconds because you could go so fast that the objects around you would practically be untangent. It was crazy. Sonic would just turn into a blur and the screen would blur too, now that's speed.

I like Original Sonic, and I don't nescisarily mean the games. The comic books by Archie the original ones were brilliant. And they stayed brilliant untill they killed off Robotnik and replaced him with Eggman.

I just really miss Sally Acorn, Router, and Antoiun. Theres a few other charecters that should have been in the new Sonics too.

Robotnik is eggman. It goes something like this...being Americans we have to Americanize everything as a large chunk of anime shows. What does a man that turns everything into robots? Robotnik. Eggman is what they called him in Japan and still do.

It could also be that his name is and always was Robotnik but Sonic mocked him in Japan all the time by calling him Eggman. They simply carried that over for the American releases of Sonic Adventure. I recall somewhere in SA they refered to him as Robotnik.
