anyone play l2? its pretty good but the exp grinde suck so i play on a private server

I played it untill I got a Dark Elf Bladedancer. Bladedancer is kind of funny but it's too bad that the dances all look a like and don't really last long.

Lineage 2 is one of the best games i've ever played... graphics wise that is...

Even though it's a few years old, I just think the graphics surpasses a lot of other new games that have come out... moooo

One thing that I dislike and like about the game (its the same thing) is the world itself. It's large, you run around it slowly (thats IF you run) and yeah... takes a long time to travel (thats IF you run). But the good thing is, is that the scenary is good, and I like to have adventures!

i played l2 for a couple of months. what i find that's a flaw in the game is the quest. they are very vegue on what you have ot do and some of them even give you false names. so it could take you hours to find this one guy but he has a different name. i had an elven archer silver ranger and a human knight lvl 50 for both if i remember correctly.

Fun game but the lvling sucks in it.

well my friend played in a server where you lvl much faster and plus more drops.

lol a funny note. i heard there was this one event where 200 people all C and D class went up against this one dragon. it took them 5-6 hours just to lose lol.

Well, the graphics are really nice. I played a while, and enjoyed travelling and seeing the scenery.
But I was soooo bored after a while. So im again playing RO. Smile

yeah yeah...graphics is alright. But the lvl-ing and balance REALLY SUCKS!!! I play on private server (extreme L2, actually), playing spellsinger, and I am astonished at how unbalanced it is. At high lvls (once you get B grade, where you can get the tatoo that shortens spell casting time), the spellsinger becomes almost invincible, dealing dmg of around 500 to a player every 2-3 seconds or so while your opponent might deal only 50-100 with their sword or bow (only possible exception are the dagger boys).

The thing I hate most about L2 is the repeatitiveness of it all. It's just kill monsters all the way from lvl 1 all the way to lvl 80 -_- and the castle sieges are only fun if you are in a big clan, and most clans won't accept you unless you play like 8 hrs a day...something I cannot afford.

It's also quite hard to get powerful weapons in the offical L2 server. I think from B-grade onwards you got to get hold of recipes and materials and make hte weapon yourself because no towns seem to sell B grade or higher weapon. That's why I play the private server, but the game still sucks =(

decent but it got very repetitve even though i only got to 20. i got bored and started guild wars and ragnarok online. i might play on ql2 though since a lot of friends want me to come back D:

L2 = the best... even though it lacks an 'anti-stuck' engine... meaning you bump into another walls and stop moving a lot... =/

Ahahaha, I played this game back when it was in open beta... the day before they released it, it still didn't have WORD WRAP. Accepting a quest was something like this:

It was insane just interacting with NPCs. And this was literally the DAY before it went live. Suffice to say I never gave it a shot after beta (meaning, once it would have cost me money).
