Here is the good news, Square Enix will release the game based on the series manga and anime Full Metal Alchemist, it will be a RPG game as the tradition of Square Enix, the game will be released this year in the US. For more information, please visit

Sadly, I hear that it's not so hot. According to my guesstimate, it has gotten a 6.5 average in the publications that I've read.

Well, i think that i may get it, but im not going going to expect much from it. A good amount of games based on anime and manga have been rather disappointing (i.e. Orphin and Gun Grave)...BUT! i still in the back of my head HOPE its going to kick arse.

Im gonna buy it.

Im not expecting it to be an incredibly deep game like Metal Gear Solid 3 or anything but it will still be fun nonetheless.

Besides, in Japan I think they released the sequal already.... so if the first 1 sells well over here..then it will give square enix an incentive to release the sequal Very Happy

I've read the reviews for it and it is getting around a 6.5, but the reviews I've read said it was a good game, it just didn't appeal enough to gamers that aren't fans of the series.

It's supposed to have some decent gameplay in a cross of an action-RPG, and also some veary good cutscene anime. All of the reviews said it has an interesting story.

Yeah, I like FMA. The story is excellent, but that's all the game has going for it. It's like Kingdom Hearts (not surprising), but without a lock-on camera. Also, Alphonse isn't as responsive as he should be. Still, I'm going to rent it.

i'll probably buy it, since fma has such an interesting story and square enix does usually make pretty good games

i have the english game but on my version there is a problem with the language.

When ed and al have won the fight on top of the train there is a cutscene all of the sudden the language changes in to japans.

not that i don't like this i think japans is much better than the english becaus i only have seen the Japanese anime but with that second problem is that there are no subtitles with this game, so i can not understand what they are saying.

do some of you people have the same problem as i do.
