Seems like unlike the first season, AT-X will be broadcasting this relatively uncut... Smile

And of course, the first episode is Ep 14 (season one ended with Ep 11, so I was right and they did cut two episodes out).

Just watched the first 2 eps of Gantz (the uncensored version). I think that so far it's really crappy, is there any change later on or should I just stop wasting my time?
Btw every character in this show managed to piss me off a lot in the first, which is quite an accomplishment (especially that chick sucks). Also the visuals are some of the worst I've ever seen.

Do you mean the episodes of Gantz ~the first stage~ or Gantz ~the second stage~?

Disregarding parts which I consider as 'awful adaptations' of the manga, the anime adaptation did not come out as good as the manga (if you consider the manga to your taste, that is).

If you cannot get to like the first 4 episodes, my advice would be to drop it...

Second Stage comments ('they' refers to GONZO) :
- why the hell do they have to 'change' Kei Kishimoto into 'desiring' Kei Kurono?!
- how the heck did this new Sakura bird have such humongous tits all of a sudden (episode 16)?!
- why did they have to go round making the old lady and the bum as 'regular' appearing characters. I know they are trying to 'drop' hints of their version of what Gantz is. Problem is I already get a hint of what they want Gantz to be and I dislike it.

Oh well... enough ranting for second stage.

Yeah, I kind of guessed it, which is why my second and third paragraphs (hmm, they only consist of one sentence each Laughing

) were written to be relevant for the series as a whole. In other words, first 4 episodes equals the ~the first stage~ episodes 1 to 4. Razz

AlDim, if the first 2 ep. didn't grab ya, then your opinion is unlikely to change. The show relies a lot on gore, violence and tension between the characters, so you're not supposed to like them except for maybe Kei and Katou. I love the OP though. Damn catchy tune and I'm not normally into rap.

I don´t know what you are expecting.
The characters are worked out finely and the whole anime contains fresh ideas.
