What is the Best Intro to an Anime?

I believe the best intro to an anime is Rewrite by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. That sond appeared in the 4th season of FMA! Now the question: Whats ur fav. Intro?

I actually agree with you. That song, Rewrite, is one of my favorite intro's to an anime.

That rewrite song does kick ass but I have to say my favourite opening is still the Bebop opening. Just got me pumped up for the episode Very Happy

. Never skip the opening in my bebop dvds either... while I do that in most of my other dvds

I think that DNAngel's opening (Hakuya ~True Light~) is the best into to an anime. Song's great and same with the opening video.

i would say my favorite op. of all time is Lain's. I tend to like outros better myself ^^.

I like the op for naruto and fma by asian kungfu generation but i like the op for gad guard more... nothing else can come to my head now........no wait elfen leid op was lilium( or however its spelled) right? thats my favorite, i listen to it once a day or more ^^

I find Rewrite for FMA to be ok... It gives a sombre feeling, which is how the series was at that time. The brothers were no longer were innocent, but also the explosive section of it seems that they still have enough energy to continue onwards....

But I believe Seishun Kyoushoukyoku from Naruto does a better job at the sombre feeling, with explosive energy. Hell, the lyrics even say that its about growing old and wise.

Back onto to topic, I feel that the best opening is Cowboy Bebop. I also really enjoy both seasons of GitS openings, Trigun, and Gasaraki's.

i don't know if it really counts, but i like the opening song for the german dub of the vision of escaflowne (shown on german mtv), which was "people" by a french techno group called Dax Riders. it's way more fitting than the japanese opening.

That FMA OP is excellent, yes. I also really liked the Gasaraki OP; a nice haunting melody. Vision of Escaflowne had a fitting OP as well. Of the current crop of shows I like Bleach, and I'm not normally a RAP fan.
