have any of you heard the song, dragostea din tei, by o-zone? apparently it was a big hit in europe quite a while back. i only recently heard it, and ive been listening to it nonstop for over 2 hours.
anyway, http://csx.jp/%7edamemushi/il/maiyahi.html <check that out. its pretty funny (funnier if you can read japanese).

| Yeah, I heard it was a song that had to do with gays. I personally liked it. The title means "under the linden tree" I think there is an animated version with Sa Gojo from Saiyuki.... |

i have the album : disc O-ZONE
it's awesome XD
"gays" huh? i dunno... there is the german site with the translated lyrics of "dragostea din tei" and "despre tine" (their other single), but my german isn't so good. i'll ask my mom to help, and then i'll post the english translation.
it'd be so cool if they became popular in north america and released their album over there, then all my friends wouldn't think i'm so weird when they hear my music choices hahaha |

For the record i dont believe the bands name is ozone. Its misconceptually thought to be that because thats the name of there cd. This song is all they listen to over in europe which is rediculous because after about the third time hearing it i realized its quite homosexual and i never want it to grace my ears again _________________ "Let them hate, so long as they fear" |

reeder, you're funny. the band IS called o-zone. i have the cd. "quite homosexual" ?? lol, no no. well, maybe. i dunno. but it's pretty much generic dance-pop-techno or something. and actually, the song came out summer 2004, that's when they played it all the time. but now it doesn't even play on the radio. their more recent single does sometimes. that's how it goes with pop and the radio.
and reeder, have you ever been to europe? there are so many diiferent types of people here with so many different tastes... i bet that like 50% of the people in each country hate each song that comes out, and the remaining 50% call the radio stations and music channels to request whatever song they like at the moment. i'm sure it's like that all over the world. well, everywhere with radio and tv, lol.
and there's nothing wrong with being homosexual. george michael is gay, and he is fawking awesome. so is elton john. and loads of other famous people. |

hey thanks, cool.
those lyrics are a bit different than what the german translation says. maybe they put ideas rather than word for word translation in the german one. know what i mean?
oh i was gonna say i really like on the album: #3 de ce plang chitarele, and #10 nu ma las de limba noastra. i like all the songs, but those i really like. |

hey Is, they are romanian, but they have a link in their site for different languages, and german was the only one there that i can understand. that's what i meant
but i haven't been there in a long while; maybe they have other languages up now.
i heard about that lip synch video being on the today show (my bro saw it while he was at school). that is really crazy. |

Ok i'll explane myself i live in Holland and for some reason it was a big hit here all i heard all day and night on tv and radio was that song, and my god it was annoying especially when it finally disapeard from radio and tv my little sister began singin the song all day long. And for the particulair i dont like is: i like metal and that genre so i dont like 3 gay boys singin pop music. Is this a good explanation or do you want me to tell more about it????? _________________ I love Grolsch and Dóner Kebap |
