| Choosing the right console depends on your preference of games i think. If you a big fan of RPGs and platformers ps2 would probably be a better choice. I think Xbox is more for fps shooters and online play with Xbox Live! Gamecube seems to have a large assortment of multiplayer games so would be a good system if you like to play with friends. As for sports games, either X-box or PS2 would be the way to go. |

| Super nintendo, megadriver and playstation and playstation 2. Didn't had a real experience of xbox or gamecube yet though but it's the rpgs on the ps2 what i like the most. |

PS2=RPGs
X-Box=Action Games
GameCube=Mario + Zelda (Double Dash!)
I own the top two, I plan to get a Game Cube... but I don't really have a spare 100 dollars. |

i think the systems are all full of different varieties, i dont think the game types have anything to do with the systems themselves. Id say its dependant on what your circle uses. My friends have all three so we game it up compleatly deciding on games alone but b4 about 3 years ago we were gamecube diehards. Now i personally favor my xbox cause the lack of annoying memory cards and the awsomeness of ahlo 2 _________________ "Let them hate, so long as they fear" |

Ah Yes, memory cards. The one flaw in the great Gamecube. Changing them around and buying new ones is SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too bad they didnt bring Halo 2 out for the 'Cube. Waaaahhhhhhh!!!!! |

What ever you guys say, I still love my PC because:
It can play any console game at all.
None of the console can play PC games.
If you want to know how to play console games on the computer, please post the question. I will tell you how. |

The classic debate of whether a pc or console is better for games. You can play console games on your computer using emulators, but you can't play ps2, xbox or gamecube games on your computer. |

i have ta say SNES...its really wat triggered my love for games. so many good games for that system........
Right now, i basicallly only touch my ps2. Its sad because i really hate sony.
I dont wanna bitch..but...sony is alwayz devising plans to suck all our money.
Look at the ps2...the only system without 4 controller ports. The dang multitap costs so much. Heck even that vertical stand costs 18 bucks cdn.
Not to mention the stoopid hard drive that isnt supported whatsoever.
But yeah..if all the rpgs werent on ps2......i would spend most of my time with GC. And ..eh.....xbox doesnt appeal to me..... its been collecting dust since the day i got it. lol.......im really only into the jap style games. |

N64 is the best console. the playstation had long loading times on almost every game i've played on it. the only game that I think thats worth playing is DDR.
I don't have enough money to get one of the newer consoles, but if i did i would get a gamecube. Nintendo has the best games. |
