I would say XBox for now, since I enjoy online fighting/racing/FPS the most at the moment.

PS2 beats out its rivals just due to the variety of games it has. My personal favorite.

IMO, Xbox needs more variety...what a waste of time and effort they put into it...and they're going to make something like Xbox2 right after..they got to put it together..graphics won't win the majority of gamers. Can't beat their exclusives though.

Nintendo GC wins in innovation and multiplayer, and the new Zelda looks nice.

As far as console construction goes... X-box has the competition licked. THe in house memory is a truly great thing cause i hate mem cards and while system specs arnt too differnt from a ps2, X-box is more like a cpu which i confess i like a lot.

PS2... though my first console was atari, then sega 32-bit... and now, PS2.. I just jumped a whole generation of PS and just stayed with computer... but I sure do say PS2 suits me much more than others.

my favorite is definitely ps2 because of the games it has
on ps2 you can play all the nippon ichi games and most of the square-enix games

My favorite, and what can be considered one of the best consoles ever, is the SNES. Not only did it feature a plethora or unique and exciting games, it was the gateway for many small developers to get on their feet and become recognized.

Companies like SquareSoft and Konami really established themselves with their big entries like Castlevania IV and Final Fantasy VI.

As for my modern-day console, I would have to go with my PS2 and Gamecube. The PS2 is great because it relies on 3rd-party support to establish itself, which allows for alot of developers to get their feet wet and create quality experiences. The GameCube, on the other hand, is the premier console to play for high-quality first-party games. From Wind Waker to Metroid Prime, Nintendo has it's foot on Microsoft's head when it comes to 1st party games.
