|
|
hi (i´m new here).
I know that Akira is an old animation (1988), but each time that i watch it i think its perfect (for me the only thing that i didnt like so much was the story). The movements, the scenario, they r all perfect.
For example the part there is a motin in Neo-Tokyo, u see everybody with no expeption moving or acting somehow (not like Dragon ball that the rest keep stand with no actions) its one of the few animations that try to give that lil detail.
doing the final dot. Do u agree?
thx for the time took. |

hmmm your point is a good one. For the time Akira had excellent anime and its always a treat to see but depending on budget i know theres a lot of other high end anime movies that would fall into the same or a similar catagory. Nowadays you'll catch a lot of cg but youll still get amazing art. _________________ "Let them hate, so long as they fear" |

Akira was a very good anime, the music, animation, and story were all good, but I believe that to trully enjoy Akira you have to read the manga, it is trully great and much better than the naime _________________ [img:387:120:36cb7a5440]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/idjota/BL.jpg[/img:36cb7a5440] |

im one of those fans that dont enjoy too much CG in the anime. like Gundam Endless Waltz, the art, the scene of actions were great, for one reason i didnt like so much the CGs.....i think it do some "damage" do the anime. And one anime that really catch my atention was Jin-Roh. yhe character desing and the actions scenes (spececially the guns were kinda impressive).
Yeap the manga is great too, but what im saying is that the scenes of Akira anime were incredible, and its very hard to find in another anime. |

| When i watched Akira for the first time I had been wanting to watch it for a long time. But after it was over i didnt care for it at all. I couldnt see what hype was about it annd still today dont care for it. People problely like it because when it came out anime wasnt that big in america and was excited to see something different. Since Akira seemed to be the only anime advertised at that time. Thats what i believe, |

Akira you folks must understand is prolly the reason why 80% of the people on this forum watch anime. Prolly the reason why this forum exists. Akira was a triumph of japanese animation and is the onew of the biggest reasons why anime even exists in america. For a movie produced so long ago, it has amazing graphics. With that in mind it also has one of the darkest and mind blowing plots around. Well it did.. Its hard to measure what this movie did for anime but it was one of the reasons the anime trend even was birthed in america and that alone deserves respect. _________________ "Let them hate, so long as they fear" |

| Akira was one of the first animes to cross into America. It is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Even today, the animation is wonderful. Don't get up and leave in this movie, make sure you pause or you'll miss A WHOLE BUNCH!!!!! |
