Male: 13-15 5.98% (110)
Female: 13-15 5.22% (96)
Male: 16-18 22.51% (414)
Female: 16-18 5.66% (104)
Male: 19-22 32.90% (605)
Female: 19-22 5.00% (92)
Male: 23-28 14.68% (270)
Female: 23-28 1.74% (32)
Male: 29+ 5.22% (96)

So, overall, guys are still the majority in showing up and telling ppl they love anime. At least from the facts of the pole, all ranges of guys still beat femal... especially the one from 19 - 22... wonder why?

Of course youll find more dudes here. Its silly to even think that females would dominate an anime site. This isnt ment to be offensive but the ratio for male/femal internet use swings a lot higher for males in general and i could even go as far to say that for anime as well. For whatever reason girls have different interests and they just dont get led to anime like guys do. Its truly sad cause gender could even play a role in girls intrest. None of the chicks at my middle school thought anime was at all watchable by anyone else cept kids and there mentality on it was scary. The chicks that go to school across from mine would scoff at any sort of anime used in modern context. Im sure its tough for some female otaku's who have to let their passion burn free all alone. PLus now we otakus have to fight over the few girls available that will let us finish a sentance about anything were intrested in.... so till the day were anime is universally accepted by all genders aged and races... fight the silent fight ladies...

Guy, more guys interested in anime post in the forums. That's not to say that there isn't any female anime fans, they just don't post in the forums as much as guys.

im a guy. judging from the results, i'd think girls just don't bother to go out looking for anime forums. i look for anime forums cuz i like to draw, and i like checking out the contest submissions. most of the girls i know don't have that kind of interest in anime. they just watch it like watching tv shows, if you know what i mean.
