The movie wasnt all that great but the intro konoha sports festival was pretty funni imo. The princess was really annoying in this movie.

the movie woulda been WAAAY better if it had shown flashbacks of kakashi using his chakra blade. Also they made Chidori look hella weaksauce in this that pissed me off. Honestly, Rasengan isnt THAT cool and taht guys BLACK DRAGON jutsu thingy was sicc and shoulda killed naruto.

I think the Naruto movies are as bad as the tv episodes lately. Pretty shallow. I've been addicted to Naruto for about 1 1/2 years and I was really into as I started watching episodes from the few first seasons. They were good, deep plot and character developement and meaning (if you understand japanese society and culture; been in Japan 6 years and married to one of them so I do). Well lately the fights have been lame, Naruto keeps using the same crap. And the latest movie was horrible given the amount of advertising preceding it. They took a kid out of nowhere, no background and gave him a lame weapon. The rival was pretty weak. The powers shown for each of the regular characters looked weak compared to what has been shown in the episodes. And the episodes lately are just the same. My wife (japanese) said this could be because while the mangaka is sticking to the manga plot, the tv station is filling in lame story plot for filler until the manga plot evolves more. I think the tv studio jumped ahead of themselves in trying to make money and in doing so weakened the original appeal. I do enjoy reading the manga though and I'm still a Naruto fan, dattabayo.

i liked the naruto movie..but i wasnt sure when it took place since naruto had all his moves already and everyone is with him still

That movie was horrid in my opinion. I especially hate how the villians looked so out of place. If i remember correcly they had guns that shot daggers or something... so stupid...

I watched the movie a while ago, it was quite fun. ^__^
I just got tears in my eyes, when all the people came to fight, but they al were dead at the end. Sad

That really was a sad moment...

dam in this movie the princess was sorta mean you know to kids and that and at the end the pic of naruto was funny

ya its quite funny that naruto face got kissed by the princess in the pic with a sign on it

The advertisements made the movie seem much better than it actually was. The whole movie was so dramatic and cliche, and it wasn't what I expected it to be.
