iv seen a small paragraph of the news on NewType magazine, said its following the novel but thats all it said. still, cant wait to see more FMA action, loved both series

One wonders what the content of this new series will be like. Will it be "serious" *cough* action like the first series or more light-hearted comedy with Bonta-kun Panic action?

What i heard was that the anime is going to be like the first fullmetal panic which is more serious over the subjects and not like the 2nd one which is more laughing and easy

the storyline for the 2nd raid can easily be spoiled

this is because it will follow the books which have already been in print for god knows how long. (the scripts for these books have been translated and uploaded on the internet.... it should be easy to find)

and yeah it'll probably be like the first season.

and apparently, tessa has a brother who we'll be seeing in 2nd Raid.

and dammmmmmmn im psyched to watch this.

While I can't prove the date Aug 26, I recently was at a live forum including Chris Patton, voice of the english Sousuke in FMP fumoffu. He deiscreetly hinted that dubbing was well under way, and not quite but nearing the end of its rep (repitions, or rather they are now just putting it together).
So within the end of the year was stated by ADV, and he is saying before 4th quarter for sure; so I think Aug 26 was about right.
