Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid

It's funny how the show goes from:
Full Metal Panic!: High school comedy mixed with Military sci-fi action
FMP: Fumoffu: Over the top humor and comedy
FMP: TSR: Rather serious if not streaked with angst, (altho chidori's flying knee kick sort of broke that...)

But it's a good balance of extremes, and The Second Raid has got to be the best sequel series I have ever seen, hands down. I mean, it actually continued the plot [to some extent, whispers have been almost left out entirely.... I wouldn't mind -another- series, if Tessa brother showed up and did more than hit on chidori ._. he was cute

just saw the whole thing...thought they did a horrible job on it in the beginning but it got sooo much better as it went on(probably because they took out all the humor in the first few eps -_-). The last 3 eps were simply amazing though...does anyone know if there planning on continuing fmp?

I just wish there had been more Kaname. She's always been my favorite character, and it just seemed like she wasn't in it enough considering she's basically the female lead. But, it is based off the book, so you can't change the source material too much. I personally loved the ending. Though quite frankly, Tessa was a bitch earlier in the series, when she bitched out Sousuke. Then again, I've never liked Tessa to begin with. I can't wait for them to do the next series, cause from what I've heard of the book, it turns into a full scale war between Amalgam and Mithril, with Leonard trying to convince Kaname that he loves her and she should side with Amalgam . It definitely sounds awesome.[/spoiler]

TSR ended weirdly, it didnt seem to end and left the plot hanging.
mabye this is a sign of a fourth season....
does anyone know if there is going to be a fourth?

I really liked this series alot! It had some of the comedy that was a Hoot in Fumoffu. The action and animation was the best of all three series. The music was just so-so. What I keep enjoying are the scenes with the strong emotions from Chidori, Sosuke, and even Tessa. I loved this!

FMP is a great series. itll be good if there is a fourth season. the only thing that gets to me is that chidori PAINFULLY reminds me of someone i know.

Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid is one of the best anime of 2005. Despite having 13 episodes. Each episode has its own twists and background. The ARX-7 Arbalest has a greater role in this series. A new M9 model will be shown in the series.

The OVA subbed released by Seirin

God, what I love the most during the opening shot is when Arbalest SEEMS LIKE to give out slick remarks on what is transpiring in front of it. Stuff like "Chest are has been hit" and "Enemy is acting strange" and lastly "Enemy has retreated. Please gather up your courage and chase after them" really made me Laughing

But what reallly made me rolling on the floor is that Urz 1, Grouseaux. I just LOVE that expression when Tessa jokingly order him to stop watching ANIMES. The reaction for him is just PRICELESS for a man who has beaten Arbalest so heartlessly.

Hm, there is still one point missing in Tessa's memory... if Sousuke really brought her to the command chair and let her sleep, how did she lose her skirt and why was her shirt open? Sagara-san really is sly...

Maybe bumping an old topic, but i really really enjoyed this series, and the following OVA. There are stuff not explored into detail more like wispered and tessa's brother. I really think it set up nicely for ANOTHER season, but maybe im hoping for too much, i havnt heard anything from anywhere. BUT, If anyone knows the smallest rumour, please inform me Embarassed
