colored pages

I think they suck, I hate when someone puts colors on pages that doesn't have them, like in some pages of ichigo 100%... it just makes the draws look worst, if they want to put color on it, it would be best if they put the page whit color, and also whitout it

Well, I like it. It's true some are not that well coloured sometimes, but it can be a difficult page they are colouring. They seem to colour the ones that are important or what they think would be good in colour. (That's my opinion Rolling Eyes

) They do take time to do it, so we should appreciate it, but you have your opinion and I have my own. Laughing

You can download the chapters from the translation groups' themselves and they do include the original non-coloured version.

Personally I like the coloured pages. Thats why I put the coloured pages in the online manga. I didn't think it was appropiate to put both colour and non colour pages online so I chose the colour ones.

Everyone has their own preferrences. I enjoy da mighty plum's work and I hope he keeps doing the excellent job he's been doing.

IMO , the color pages are just eye candy and they usual color the comic and have the orignal without color anyways iono why getting all pissed about it. What I really want to know is how they do that?
Maybe photoshop and use layers of colors and shadow etc...
but I dont think they use merly the mouse if they do then it must be hard as hell. Is there speical equipment?

By adding the coloured pages, the files get bigger. They should separate the coloured pages and the original scans. Most of the coloured pages i found especially Naruto is redundant.

The coilor pages are good sometimes, but manga regular print just seems more "manga-ish". adding color detracts from the mangaka's origional intent when drawing the panel and i think it is just unnessecary to add the color.

I really like the colors in Ichigo. It helps to bring the first pages to life and add a bit of a touching feel to them. Of course I'm also not a pureist.

No seriously, in Ichigo 100% they usually color the pages which have a sexual appeal, and the coloring is really good too. Shadings are perfect and so on.

I can't really see why the colors annoy some people. They just add stuff, they don't remove anything, except perhaps the "feeling"

I don't like coloured pages in manga. I think it's much better to leave it black and white. That's its essence.

Color adds life to comics, but in internet black&white is better, because b&w images load faster.
