Best Sleeper Anime

Well im looking for some quality anime and i dont care if their contraversial, but i just want some decent anime so pls list what you think is the best non-mainstream or sleeper anime in your opinion.

i'm not sure if you watched this but, since not many people have seen this anime i have to say juuni kokki (twelve kingndoms or something like that)

I'd suggest Kino no Tabi. It was something of an underrated show, not getting much exposure but it was definetely a great little series.

Yeah. I wasn't impressed with Twin Spica at first, but it turned out quite good.

One of my personal faves and is very much a sleeper anime is Infinite Ryvius. It's like Lord of the Flies... but in space Razz

If you are looking for fastpaced action anime don't bother... it puts most of it's focus on developing characters.

what does sleeper anime mean?

In my opinion which is possibly correct, a sleeper anime is one which when it came out didnt get much attention, maybe gathered a small fanbase but really didnt hit it off well but later after more people watch it, they start to realize that it was actually really good and it was really worth watching. The best non anime example i can give would be the boondock saints since that movie played out very similarly to my explanation

In my opinon, twelve kingdom should be the one.It has a great story and sometimes it quite boring actually.

The story is about a normal girl being sent to another dimension to be a queen or ruler of one of the twelve kingdoms.
