- Noir.
- My-Hime.

Bleach is a likely candidate to join the list once the OST is out.

most of the Studio Ghibli films, including:
Mononoke Hime
Totoro
Kiki's delivery service
Laputa: Castle in the sky
Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind
Spirited Away
Grave of the Fireflies

Full Metal Panic (I)
Love Hina
Chobits
Inuyasha
GTO
Angelic Layer
Toyko Underground
One Piece
Naruto
Fruits Basket

i'm sorry there are so many. i think if one has grown to enjoy an anime, he or she will most definitely enjoy the music as well. i tried to pick the ones that sound good regardless of prior knowledge in the anime, since that knowledge can become biased at times.

i'm a firm believer in that music associated to something pleasant and memorable are always appreciated, no matter how shitty it sounds for other people.

Personally, I like punk rock so my favorite would have to be FLCL. My second favorite would be Cowboy Bebop because of the diverse soundtrack that sounds great for each of it's respective genres.

I'd say Cowboy Bebop for sure, no soundtrack can ever match that one! ^^

There are so many series that have catchy OP/EDs but the ones I really like the entire Soundtrack are:

Kenshin 1st OAV (Taku Iwasaki)
Full Moon wo Sagashite (just love Full Moon's songs)
FLCL (The Pillows)
Gundam SEED (BGM and OP/EDs are all pretty good)

and the master composers of music (atleast for anime)

Cowboy Bebop (Yoko Kanno)
Escaflowne (Yoko Kanno)

Noir (Yuki Kajira)
.hack//SIGN (Yuki Kajira)
My-HiME (Yuki Kajira)
MADLAX (Yuki Kajira) - I haven't seen this series but I have the OST =P

My favorite composer is Yuki Kajira, she has some of the most unique and catchy compositions.

hey guys have you heard the background music for furi kuri??
man that anime has a nonstop background music and its rock/metal too.
love the guitar licks on that series. although the furi kuri story is quite confusing i think it has one of the best soundtracks ever.

I'd go with

my-hime (i think the music was good but the animation behind it sucked)
bleach (menos grande, hola muchachos referance to bleach ep:14)
kenshin ova (first)
GTO (no idea why they just kickass somehow)
Initial D (so damned upbeat makes my brain dance)
Naruto (i like the recent OP but the all the END songs annoy me like hell)

hmmm my top osts would probably go as this

1. FLCL... the pillows kick ass Very Happy
2. Cowboy Bebop... Kanno Razz
3. Wolf's Rain... Kanno again!

Other then that I usually only like a few songs from each OST I download but those three I can listen to pretty much every song
