Cowboy Bebop Synopsis & Reviews on Anime-Source

I just go to watch the anime a while ago, and I have a question about the ending...

At the end of the anime series, does Spike die, or did he just faint or something? Or is it just unknown? Cuz the implication was that the guy died, but I reeeeaaallly wanted him to get w/ the Faye girl, so I'm still sort of holding out that he just collapsed.

Did the creators ever do anything after Ep. 26? Cuz that would clarify things a bit....

Spike died. There is a movie but that is before the end of the series. Oh and this should be in the bebop thread. ^_^

cowboy beebop was frekin awsome but spike should not have died

i think it was good that he died, not cause i hate him or anything but i thought that he would have just collapsed or something so him dieing was a sad surprise. i think it was a good way to end the series

it's a stupid series with no real plot anyways... too many tangents!

i thikn he died because the other guy (frogot his name) said that only him can kill Spike, and only spike can kill him

but stil... guns vs swords ?? doesn't really make sense

Yeah spike died and it was a pretty good ending. I didn't like it at first but I started to appreciate it when I watched other animes and such. O, and there is an episode 27 of cowboy bebop.Its called The mish-mash blues.. or something like that. But it is nothing new its just a big flashback episode. And if you are looking for new experiences with spike and everyone you should pick up the manga.

I love cowboy bebop!! It's one of my fav anime!!!
I have the japanese box, but i've never seen the film "Knockin' on heavens door"
i also have the three mangas, which are not that ghood, but if you like the series...

I did enjoy the anime and was seriously upset that they killed off Spike. I would have loved seeing more episodes with the whole crew but that's not to be. I've yet to see the movie but I really think Adultswim should not show it so often. They need to take it off for a while and then bring it back. Then it's like watching it new.
