i noticed that everytime that spike uses two guns he ends up getting shot

i thought that the series was just ok. animation was good and each seperate episode was ok..but put the whole series together and it = just an ok anime for me...i just wasn't impressed by it. Some particular episodes were really good...but all together i think it was just satisfactory. and i was bummed out @ the end too when Spike died, but yea...not like i'm distraught or anything..

indeed- cowboy bebop is one of my favorite series, but the music is FREAKIN AWESOME. i own all the bebop CDs. lemme tell you- the Seatbelts have got to be the best group that has ever done anime music- the range is enormous. they do rock, jazz, blues, country, metal- its great. check it out!

Cowboy Bepop was great. I think it is a funny, action and often serious anime. It has a huge amount of facets. It was a great series and I think it was a sad but matching end. Moreover, in how many other animes did you see one of the protagonists die?

yea cowboy bebop is great i love it all the music, the animation, the action. even though spike died at the end. he went at with style. Cool

Agreed, this is a very well made anime. The music is far superior to many (if not all) animes.

I think the ending fit for the whole series. Julia just died, the syndicate was going to go after him too, the whole bebop crew was breaking up, so with him dying it made it a wonderful series. If he was alive, I would have liked it, but then hated the writers for pulling a happy ending. I'm just weird like that. Razz

I found the ending of Cowboy bebop while sad was well done and appropriate.
In the end Spike had nothing left to do. Julia was dead and Vicious had been killed.
I might have liked to have seen something start between Spike and Faye, I could have lived with an ending where she rushes in and saves him at the last minuet but I doubt it would have fit the series.

I don't condsider any of Episodes to be "filler". I liked the fact that each one stand alone and have thier own themes. Plus there are more then one storyarch not just spike's. Like "Honkey Tonk Women" "My funny Valentine" "Speak like a Child" and "Hard Luck woman" go together to tell Faye's story.
So I wouldn't say there is no plot to the series.

Only weaklink Episode I think is Wild Horses it isn't horrible but I never had desire to watch more than once.

The way they drawn the scenes of Real folk Blues its obvious they were going for a John Woo ending I was hardly surprised with Spikes death.

it was defintly one of the best endings to an anime ive ever seen i dont know how you couldnt like the end it wrapped up the ENTIRE series. Damn now all this Cowboy Bebop talk is gonna make me watch all 26 episodes in a row again...

i wish they didnt end it but atleast they didnt pull a dbz and make too many episodes Razz

i wish they made like 10 more Crying or Very sad
