Maburaho vs Love Hina?

I personally prefer Maburaho than Love Hina
story wise, the humour in Maburaho is not as far fetch and silly as Love Hina, but its just as funny as well. There are more emotions and feelings at play, and you can feel the chemistry btw the characters.

Anybody knows whether there'll be a 2nd season of Maburaho? Although it was released in 2003.... i still hope they'll do a 2nd season. The ending was abit confusing Confused

I prefer love hina, i thought it had a better story, humor and it made me care about the characters unlike Maburaho which I stopped watching around ep 15 (i think)

I think there won't be a second series of Maburaho even though the ending was wierd and confusing. Love hina imo is much more better than maburaho, the story, the characters and the comedy are better. Love hina is one of the most well known romance and comedy anime there is and deserves to be watched by every anime fan.

Our main character is the seventeen-year-old high school student, Kazuki Shikimori. He attends the elite school for training people in the art of using magic, Aoi Academy, but as for his grades, it would be faster to count his rank starting at the bottom. On top of that, he can only use magic eight times in his whole life! Because he’ll turn into dust if he uses up his magic, he spends his days depressed, unable to even use magic.

One day, a girl named Yuuna Miyama shows up in front of him. "From now on, we’re husband and wife!" While he is still shocked, Kuriko Kazetsubaki and Rin Kamishiro appear before him. They have but one goal. To get the genes from Kazuki that hold the world’s most powerful magic...

well, love hina has been around since the year 2000. Thats why its more famous and common to many anime fans. Maburaho just ended nearing mid of year 2004, and was licensed then. So its not fair to say which anime is more famous. I found some of the jokes in love hina quite silly, especially the kappa jokes. Ughhh
The only character i was attached to in love hina was narusegawa. In Maburaho, i'm attached to Kuriko, Rin and Yuuna. More emotions, feelings and chemistry can be felt.

If comparing anime to anime, then I have to say Maburaho. It wasn't quite as wacky, but I liked the character interaction/fighting between the three female protagonists.

If you include the manga, then I have to say definitely Love Hina... well until I read more of Maburaho. I've only gotten my hands one one chapter of the manga for Maburaho, while I've read the whole Love Hina manga. It's better than either anime hands down (though I wouldn't mind have seeing Moe in the manga.)

Love Hina hands down.
Romance/Comedy + Lotsa Girls + OTB Fan Service = Godly

I'm beginning to lose faith in anime versions of awesome mangas. Such is the case. The manga is soooooooo much better.

Comparing the two series, I have to go with Maburaho. The characters are more well developed and there is more story and drama. Unlike Love Hina, the story is flat and the characters stays the same. Though it is funnier and wackier, I still like my series with abit more brains.

I don't think you will find many Maburaho fans out there, and comparing it with a anime classic like Love Hina, this thread is going to be one sided.

I'm a huge fan of love hina.. but if is "vs" against another anime, that anime must be good, so good that I'm already looking for it's episodes Razz

well as a fan of love hina I have all the gba games cause I can find any for any other plataforms Sad

but the mangas I love the most are Ichigo 100% and newest reliese Gakuen Heaven ( not the gay stuff Confused
